My father was a resident in this place when it was Oakmont Manor. The name has changed but from what I understand the standard of care hasn't. My mother was no longer able to provide full time care for my father. She would have died had she kept going at the pace she was going. We finally convinced her this was the best decision because Dad would be in a facility with equipment and staff to provide the 'round the clock care one person alone couldn't do. It was the most agonizing decision any of us ever had to make but we believed it was in my parents best interest. We trusted the facility. We were wrong. Every nightmarish thing I had ever heard about a nursing home was true with this place. If you love someone, don't send them here. If you loathe someone don't send them here. By the way when asked for value, I am not sure how to rate the value of breaking someone's spirit.
