We chose Jeanne Jugan Residence Home for my father, and he's very happy there. They have van trips for ice cream and they look at scenery. They also have bingo, religious things like daily mass and rosary every day, and they also have a coffee shop. He has also gone to work in their little Sundry shop, where they have little items for $1.25, like toothpaste and so on. He also goes to exercise classes a couple times a week, and they have a piano player who comes in weekly. They have a restaurant day once a month where a local restaurant caters the meals at noontime, and sometimes it's a food truck. The staff manages my father's meds and takes his blood pressure. His floor has a little kitchen where you can prepare something, and they put muffins and coffee out for the residents or juice.
