My husband was in Memory Care at Cambridge Warren for almost 4 years. During that time (which included Covid), I never worried for him. He was always well cared for, treated with respect and affection. His room was pleasant and always clean. I was a tiny bit jealous of the food he got. Cambridge Warren is not an “institution” but more like a small hotel. There are plenty of comfort zones, including an outside patio where we often sat when the weather was nice. Staff greeted me warmly when I visited but also gave us privacy. If you need a place for your loved one, where they will be treated with dignity and kindness, this is it.

I toured Cambridge Warren Senior Living for my mother. It is a lovely setting right in downtown Warren. It's right on the river, the Allegheny River, so they have an outdoor patio area, and their dining rooms are overlooking the river. They had a courtyard in the middle of the facility, but it was outdoors, and it was a very nice courtyard for people to be in. I think there was a small gazebo in there. I liked it because it was a smaller facility. I think they have 60 beds, and that also includes memory care. I felt the residents would probably have a little more one on one interaction with the staff because it being a smaller facility. They had suites with a living area, separate bedroom, little kitchen nook, and bathroom. The only downside is the place used to be a motel, so they have built a wall, and I think it was the outside entrances to the motel. They have built a glass wall along the hallway, so now it's interior, but the problem is there is one step up into each suite. For people like my mother, it would be a difficult task to handle, if you're on a walker. They had a lovely activity room with floor-to-ceiling windows, they had a theater with actual theater seats where they do movies, and two beautiful dining rooms.

As sole caretaker of a husband with Alzheimer's, I was delighted to have Cambridge taking care of him for two weeks while I got some rest. The Director, Karen L., was terrific with communication - because of the virus, I was not allowed in (we had toured earlier) and so Karen sent me a picture of the room and responded immediately if I had any questions. The staff that I met seemed caring and capable. Unless you've dealt with Alzheimers directly, you cannot fathom how difficult it is - Cambridge was a life saver for me and I intend to use them again. They understand this disease and know how to handle it.

Ma Grandma has been living at Cambridge Warren for 3 years, she feels like home there. The staff is very nice and they always keep us updated with her general health. She enjoys the activities there, and we love to go and visit her.

My aunt has lived at Cambridge of Warren since 2002. The staff has always treated her very well, helped her with her room, showers, and most basic needs. Cindy my aunt was feeling very tired for a week. She had came to my mom's house / her sister for a family birthday party. My sister had noticed Cindy getting white in the face, being that it was 90+ degrees that day my sister had though she was just hot and dehydrated. My sister gave her some water and had her sit in the shade. Cindy had gone back to Cambridge that evening after being sick, staying in her room, throwing up and losing a large amount of weight for the next 2 weeks. The nurse had called my mother stating that Cindy needed to go to the hospital. After we found that Cindy has stage four cancer, we had asked her how long she was feeling ill. She had mentioned to the staff multiple times in the prior 2 months that she was sick. She wasn't showing up for meals, not coming out of her room and lying in bed for a couple months. The nurse staff goes into her room everyday! How was it that they hadn't said anything for months to the family?
