Homestead of Weatherford

My mother-in-law has been a resident of Homestead of Weatherford for 5 years now. We're really happy with them. They're very nice people. We would recommend them for sure. It's light and bright, and it's a happy place. They take good care of their residents. They have a level of care that covers a lot of things and they don't itemize everything, so it works out well. If she's sick, she gets more care. They have activities, and they transport them to doctors and go with them if needed. They take them places and they have parties. They're patient when she loses things and they help her find them. Her room is big enough for her loveseat, a couple of recliners, her bed, a dresser, and a TV. It has a little kitchenette and a nice bathroom with storage and a safe shower. The staff is very kind and patient. I can call them about any concern and they will check on it. There are places to go outside and inside. For our area, I'd say it's the best place.

Around December of last year, my grandmother had a very severe fall. She was not able to care for herself anymore as her mind began to slip away due to Alzheimer's. The Assisted Living Facility my grandfather chose for her was very good. The nurses were all very attentive to my grandmother's special needs. She ate very well and the nutrition for all of the patients was very good. My grandmother felt at home here because of how friendly the staff was. Her door was decorated with all of her grandkids, me included. Overall, I rate the facility very highly.
