My mother has moved into Minford Retirement Center. It's been very good. The rooms are very nice. The place is very clean. The staff are very attentive. I've had dinner with her, and it's good. They make everything from scratch right there. Everything is made in-house. You generally get two or three selections for each meal. It's usually one main course but you can always choose chicken fingers, homemade mashed potatoes, or homemade chicken noodle soup or something. The common area is OK. Now that they have an activity person, there are doing activities about five days a week whether it's crafts or bingo or something. They have a common area they can sit in, and they have their individual rooms with sinks, little microwaves, refrigerators, and stuff. There's no rec or exercise room. There's nothing like that. They are good with mom. It is kind of expensive though.
