Lost Creek Rehabilitation and Nursing Center

I was at Lost Creek Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for 2 months. It was a very, very nice place. And the nurses there went above and beyond their duty. They treated me well. I had a private room and it had a homey setup. You could bring whatever you want to put in your room. The therapies were very good. When I went in, I couldn't even move my leg. But when I got out, I was 100% better. They played bingo and they did crafts. There was a courtyard where they could take us out for walks.

Do not recommend this place to no one was a resident due to knee surgery push the nurse call button at 2:00 am didn’t come to check on me until a hour later

I would have wanted to know that children of the parent in their care would be treated with respect regardless who holds the power of attorney. My mother was a resident in this horrible place. I got her moved out as soon as I could. I was mistreated by staff who refused to give me any information because my brother had power of attorney. My mother was kept in a dark room with a pad lying on the floor next to her bed. She was given psychotropic drugs she did not need and was hospitalized due to lack of proper care. The "doctor" called in scripts for my mother without seeing her. This facility nearly killed her with their hap-hazard care giving. When she was moved to Baton Rouge Nursing Facility she lived another 3 years and though a dementia patient, and with good quality care, she never completely lost her memory. What a difference good care makes. I would not recommend Lost Creek to any family, friend or foe.

This is a beautiful place inside and out. There was music playing, people socializing, and was nothing like a traditional nursing home. The staff know my name, knows the family's likes and dislikes, and the whole team was warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in! This would be the place I would choose for my mom...Lost Creek stepping up their game!

I have nothing but great things to say about Lost Creek! The care, the staff, the leadership is amazing... Country living and a beautiful place to live. I will always seek this place out for any rehab. The next best place to home.

January 2011 my mother was in her final stages of her fight with Lung Cancer. The doctor had let us know that she did not have long to live. I have a small home and had to work and was unable to give my mother the around the clock care she needed. So, I looked into the option of a nursing home. I wanted one close to my home so I went to Lost Creek Care Center. The staff seemed friendly and the appearance of the nursing home was clean. The residents in the nursing home had options to live a normal life although they were living in a nursing home community. During such a sensitive time, the staff ended up being great, they would make extra food trays for family members to stay and have dinner with my mother. The responded quickly to room lights and would check in to make sure my mom was doing ok. The room she was in was clean and spacious. Also, they made it so easy for me to get my mother moved in and they took care of the insurance paperwork with minimal cost to the family. I would recommend Lost Creek Care Center to someone who would like their loved one to be in a place with a caring staff.
