"Sunrise of Findlay is nice but the rooms were on the small side. The staff seemed nice and seemed to be okay or at least the ones I talked to. The living atmosphere of the place was quaint, it was a nice-looking building. But the cost of this community is out of my price range. It also seemed like a pretty clean place to me."

"Otterbein Pemberville SeniorLife Community is an excellent community. The rooms are clean and bright. We could smell food cooking there, and it was really good. However, the price of that was way above that we couldn't even consider affording it. The staff were amazing. They were wonderful. They answered any questions we had there. They're very thorough. It was a very nice community. It was very well-kept and bright. The rooms were clean and spacious. They had their own bathrooms and their own little kitchenettes in their rooms."

"The Heritage was adequate, but it was not our favorite by any means. When I walked into it I knew it was an assisted living community. The ceilings were low, the rooms were small, and it felt and smelled like you're in an assisted living place. It was clean, the staff was very personable, but it just had that feel. The hallways were smaller, the windows didn't let in a lot of light, and it just didn't meet our standards. It was adequate and it would be an OK place. We had lunch there and the food was very good, but it felt just like a dining room with nothing spectacular about it except for the excellent food. They have plenty of activities like bingo, they have an ice cream parlor, movies, and other standard activities."

"The facility was much larger than most we had visited. It had multiple wings, which was nice, depending on the need of the individual who would be staying there. The staff was friendly and always visible. There were nightly programs to be active in and a large dining hall and lounge area for the residents to lounge in. There was a hair salon and other amenities that most other assisted living homes did not have.Additionally, the facility was easily located on the edge of town, allowing it to be in a more quiet neighborhood and easy access from the highway. The facility itself was in great condition and looks to have been remodeled recently in addition to what looked like a newly added wing. Overall, the facility was more than we expected and was great. There were plenty of people there, making it feel more like an apartment complex than a small nursing home type environment. "

"My Mother & also my Mother-in-law are residents of Westbrook Assisted Living, & I highly recommend it. I am thankful for their care & for the kindness of all of their staff. Not only to my family, but also to me when I have concerns & questions about my Mom's health. She needs more care than my Mother-in-law does, but they have been so good to both. I have had meals with Mom, & the food has always been good! I greatly appreciate all of the staff, who often go "above & beyond" to care for our relatives, & are so cheery to all of us, & help brighten our days. My thanks to all of them! "
