Logan Acres

We're going to apply for Logan Acres. We did an in-person tour in the assisted Living, and it's excellent. It was up to date, it was clean, the staff was very pleasant, and I think it had all the services that we need. There's congregate dining, there's a spa room, there's physical therapy available, there's all kinds of community activities like playing cards, watching movies, there's a nice park area outside. The layout was nice, I liked how they had it shaped; one concern I have is how far some of the rooms are from the dining room.

Logan Acres of Bellefontaine, is a fairly exceptional residence. I went there to intern the STNA's and RN's there. The majority of them were very compassionate and, in my opinion loved what they did, while others were absolutely horrible to the residents there. I feel that they did not treat the residents with the amount of respect they deserved and was very rude to them. I on the other hand would better look into the nursing home before placing a loved one into it. The layout and look of the nursing home is very nice and was just recently updated, they have had many addition's making it look very professional and welcoming. Overall I feel this nursing home meets the requirements it should, but possibly needs to better choose the workers they have in the facility. Not everyday could be a completely good day for the workers, but I feel it is important not to take your negativity to work with you, especially with people who are ill and dealing with their own problems.
