Campbell Place

Campbell Place was beautiful. Seniors were gathered in the main living room, talking and putting puzzles together, another one in the corner reading, and there was something going on in the activity room. The dining area was well laid out and clean. It was set for the next meal. We went through just one room. It's easy and adaptable for anyone to move in. I loved their showers. They were almost walk-in types. The staff that I met was great. They went out and beyond their call of duty. It is an older home, but beautifully taken care of.

Campbell Place is where I would put my mother. The people were very personal, they came up and introduced themselves to me. They were doing activities and they were having Valentine's party for all the tenants. They showed me the actual kitchen and craft areas for the tenants. They were very personal and tried to give me and tell me all the information that they could about it. I looked at the people that were out there, there were several people there for the party. They had 35 units. The staff went to the hospital where my mother is, which is an hour away from them, and evaluated her. They were the only ones out of all of them who did that. It's to make sure that when she went in, she would get the proper care that she needed. We were looking at their studio room, which was nice.

My wife was resident of Campbell Place Bellefontaine, and it has a very nice layout. Her mother too was a resident there for a year, and I would give them a five rating across the board for everything. They went out of their way to make sure their people had something to do. They had entertainment and all kinds of games. They got them involved. They have big puzzles that they are working on all the time too. One of the things they had my wife got involved in with was when they got these huge balls with drumsticks in their hands to beat on to the music. They just carried on, and had a good time. They also played bingo and cards games. They just went to the next level. If I could afford it, I would have left her there. The staff was also unbelievable and really good. Their food was excellent. Their apartments were good and clean. You are allowed to decorate and make it as homey as you want.
