"I stayed at Willowbrook Nursing Center for a couple of weeks. They were good. They had good nurses and good assistants to the nurses. All of the therapy people were so nice and talked to me and joked around with me. And so it just made it a lot easier to have somebody that was talking to you and trying to find out what was going on. I hurt my back, so they were putting the heat packs on there. And it was very good. I liked it. I had thought about going and staying there, but then I remembered I felt more at home at the other facility."

"My aunt is in Westward Trails Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. It's very clean and they're very engaging with the residents. They have a lot of activities, and they're very friendly. They have bingo, they have all kinds of ice cream parties. Today, a couple of people came in sang gospel music, and played guitars. They have a lot of different people from the community come in and entertain. For everything that goes on around, even for the eclipse last Monday, they took residents that could go out or wanted to and had the glasses and refreshments and they made a big thing out of that. The staff is very good. They're short-staffed, but that's not their fault. They're trying to hire people and people just don't want to work. The food that I have tried has been very good. Sometimes it may not be what somebody likes, but it's not that it's bad food. Today, they had a goulash, fried okra, Texas toast, and a salad. The place is very clean. My aunt is not able to do many of the activities, but they always include her. Breakfast is not that great, but it's not bad food. Sometimes, the eggs are cold. It's just expensive to be there."

"My husband moved into Southland Health Care Center. They've been very good to him. I have had no problems with them so far. The staff members have all been very nice. His room is like a hospital room, but there's nothing bad about it. It's comfortable. The dining area looks nice. They play cards and dominoes. It's about 15 minutes from where we live."

"This seemed to be a very clean and well kept assisted living home. Upon entering the facility, there was a large open room that was beautifully decorated for the holiday season. The people who lived there were clean and looked well taken care of. We met with the manager who was on duty at the time. She seemed very kind, and had the interest of the residents as her first priority. As we met with the individual residents, we went into some of their bedrooms, especially of the people who were unable to come listen to our performance. The rooms were a good size, and seemed quite comfortable and clean. The only thing that could have made this assisted living facility a little bit better would have been if the smell of the home had been fresher. I don't know if anything can be done about that, and it was no different than any other assisted living facility I have ever visited. They just always seems to smell not-so-fresh! Other than that, this place was one of the best I have ever seen, and I would certainly recommend it to those who are looking for a place for their lived ones to live with assistance! "

"We went to Larkspur. I like how clean and how they had it painted and decorated. It's just pretty. And you have two people in one room, but the rooms are big enough. Sometimes I feel bad so I have to stay in bed and I don't have to associate with them. It's a nice place. It's just real friendly people. The nurses are friendly. So, I think I'll like the place a lot when I get in there. The person who gave the tour was just wonderful. She showed us everything. She showed us some of the things that we can do, which is they have a room for the games and different stuff like that. She was just very nice. And she's been very helpful to all of this, too. I was telling her and asking her about a few of the things that I wanted to know about the room, and if I could bring my recliner and different stuff, and she said she would find out for me. She said I could decorate the room however I wanted. I can put little whatnots and stuff in there. So, she explained a lot of stuff to me."

"I took care of my aunt, who was a resident of Castle Pines Health and Rehabilitation. They had laundry facilities there, but I did them for her. I visited her on a full-time basis. The facility is very clean. They do dominoes, arts, and crafts. They have church on Sundays. They have a physical therapy room. They do connect. They do a lot of stuff over there. Their food is excellent. It always comes to them hot. If the residents can't go to the lunchroom, they bring it to them. It's presentable. Their medicine is always given on time. Their staff is very nice. I would give them five stars on everything. I highly recommend this place."

"I loved PineCrest Retirement Community. It was really beautiful. It was a red brick building and then they had little houses and garden homes. It was gated and my aunt likes the thought of that. When I walked in front of the independent living building, it was pretty in there and everybody was really active and moving around doing stuff. That seemed more like what my aunt was looking for, because she's very active herself. There was a big piano in this big hall and somebody was playing it, and it was beautiful. I talked to the activities director lady and the things they do just sounded awesome."

"My MIL stayed here to recover from Covid. She was made to feel at home and the stay there helped her tremendously to get her strength back. The new owners and staff made her feel very welcome and comfortable while tending to all her needs. She enjoyed visiting with them every chance she got. I can’t thank them enough! What a blessing it was to her and her family! "
