"I took a tour, they were nice and courteous there. It was a little bit smaller than the other place I visited, but we like it. The staff cared, and they had the amenities that we needed or that we were looking for. It's accessible to all of my mom's doctor's appointments so that's nice. The staff we met there were informative, patient, nice, and sweet. Their dining area seems community-based and open. The surroundings felt warm, you go in and it doesn't feel like a nursing home. Everybody was friendly there, it didn't feel like the people there were forgotten about, and there was a lot of care. They have transportation to doctors' appointments, which is great. They also had activities that they coordinate for the residents. I remember seeing a few people playing cards in like a sitting room. They have stuff that they plan and then daily stuff that they can do, which is nice."

"Other than parking, Hopkins Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare was very nice. The lobby was pleasant. When they took me up to see the floors, the facility was pretty clean. The residents that I met there were pleasant. Sometimes, you tour a nursing home and they look miserable, and they didn't seem that way there. The staff was pleasant. They have an activity calendar for the month and they had several things to do daily. Usually in the summertime because it's warm, they have a barbecue every Wednesday. They have a backyard where the residents can go and that was nice, very peaceful, and very green. The dining area was clean, pretty new, and good-sized, and they had a menu. It impressed me. The staff was very helpful and informative. I felt comfortable. I didn't get a bad vibe."

The menus for all of the meals were extensive, and there were a lot of choices. They had all of the services for medications, showers, and feeding. The rooms were nice and large. I did not meet a lot of the staff, but the staff members we did meet were friendly and very professional. "

"We transferred my father at Francis Parker. This place is excellent. It never smelled. There is no better place than Francis E Parker. They had people that were dressed nicely. It's a fantastic nursing home. My father never got any bedsores. The food was stupendous. They even have dinner where the family could come and they serve lobster. They have parties and they also got regular entertainment for people to cheer everyone else. They had nurses that their only job was to make sure that if somebody felt bad, they would sit down and talk to them. "

"I have an application in for Rose Mountain Care Center. The tour was very good. The girl that was there took me upstairs and showed me where they ate. She showed me where they have push-ups and physical stuff. She took me into a room where they had TVs. The bedroom was very nice. Everything there was so great. I was happy about that. They might have a couple of private rooms, but I think it's mainly two people in one room. The staff told me a lot of things, and they were very pleasant."

"I toured the Embassy Manor at Edison Nursing and Rehabilitation and I think it's good. The layout was good, the tour was amazing, and the staff was good. They showed me all the things I needed and they explained everything to me. I did not see the actual food but they said it was food. I was looking for more vegetarian options and they have a complete section of it. That impressed me a lot."

It wasn’t as nice as the place we put them in and I don’t think that the staff was as professional, caring, and responsive. The nursing staff should probably pay attention to their patients more than they did. The cleanliness wasn’t fantastic. The food was OK."
