"We found St. Francis for my mother after she could no longer take care of herself the final few months of her life. Everything about it was first rate. The facility was newer,and clean. The staff was fantastic from the administrator down to the nurses, aides, and even the cleaning staff. They made our mother feel at home from the beginning, and would even check to see how we were doing and if we needed anything prior to her death. I cannot say enough good things about them. I highly recommend them! "

"I visited Park Center. It was a well run facility, but just too big for me. The staff was extremely friendly. It was also clean and well kept. Like all the places that I have visited, they have very good activities and good food. Their interaction is great. It was just little bit harder to get around because it was so big; it was multilevel. You have to go downstairs to a basement to access any of the recreational activities, and the apartments were upstairs. There was just a lot of getting around, and my mom is 91, so she doesn?t get around the best. "

"My mother fell and broke her femur. The fracture was so bad that she was requiredto go to a facility until she could manage on her own. She wasn't sure where to go, and as I am an xray technician who goes to nursing home and rehab facilities to do portable xrays I suggested Newton Health Care. She was taken very good care of and they had inhouse physical therapists to work with her. She was able to have therapy twice a day. My mothers room was on the small size but it was a private room so she didn't have to put up with anyone else. Mom said the food was rather plain/bland in taste. Other than pain medications she didn't need any meds. I was able to go in every day after work and see her. It was mom's choice that I do her laundry but they were willing to do her stuff if she wanted it. Over all I was happy with her stay. "

"We toured Sunrise Hill Care & Rehab Center. It was very clean. You could tell the residents were well taken care of. They offer a lot of nice amenities. It was a very pleasant place. We were hoping we could get my husband there, but they didn't have an opening at the time. They have physical therapy and different activities every day. They have games and other stuff, too. It was very well kept up nicely. We never tried their food, but they were cooking the meal, and it sure smelled good, so I imagine it was good. It was a very nice place."

"I believe making as many visits to see your friends or loved ones makes a big difference in there care they recieve, and if you can know there condition & what medication the facilty is giving them, does it benefit the patient or the staff, (Know the black box warnings on medications) some will do more harm then good. Always remain calm & cool. Always stat to the patients that there care is number #1, and notice how they are dressed. I really believe that the nurses & the aides doing the work , need to be always praised for their work because it goes a long way, Knowing that your loved one will be taken care of when you are away help relieve stress. I feel that care center need to worry about the care part not so much the money, just like school and we all would be in a better spot today . We need to take care of the people who bought us into this world , and give them a since of we care about what happens. This place has made it look like a home in the dining room & TV area, and many changes are happening everyday. , Glad to see that a person getting older has a since of a home & friends "

"They had my aunt in Rolling Green Village. They have very attentive staff, not a lot of activities for the group she was in, but they did a lot of checking of everybody every day, making sure the little things that each person liked was taken care of. She was there for rehab. The room she shared was well-kept and clean, and they took care of it every day. They are more for people who can't get around, and who really need the one on one care of medical people. All the nurses were incredibly nice, and very helpful to the family. It was a very reasonable price for the care that was needed."
