My mother fell and broke her femur. The fracture was so bad that she was requiredto go to a facility until she could manage on her own. She wasn't sure where to go, and as I am an xray technician who goes to nursing home and rehab facilities to do portable xrays I suggested Newton Health Care. She was taken very good care of and they had inhouse physical therapists to work with her. She was able to have therapy twice a day. My mothers room was on the small size but it was a private room so she didn't have to put up with anyone else. Mom said the food was rather plain/bland in taste. Other than pain medications she didn't need any meds. I was able to go in every day after work and see her. It was mom's choice that I do her laundry but they were willing to do her stuff if she wanted it. Over all I was happy with her stay.
