"I have had many family memebers reside and work at this facility. Aunts and uncles, my mother, and grandmother. I have also had aunts and uncles and great grandparents admites, and I have to say, the employess of this facitlity really care abnout their residents! They take a personal interest in each patient, and try to provide a family feel to the facility. Each employee wants to work there, and you can see it, right down the the cafeteria and cleaning crew. They care about each patient and work hard at providing stellar care! This is a place I'm proud to send our ederly to! "

"The staff seem helpful and able. There is always a competent member of the staff ready to help me if I have a questions. The building looks run down but livable. There is air conditioning in the rooms, a large social area although the patients have to share a room due to limited space. The nurses and doctors create a stable environment for the patients and I have not had an trouble when contacting them. The nurses seem to be able to control even an uncontrollable patient. The doctors are hard to get ahold of but seem to be up to date on their patients. The patients have plenty of opportunity for outside social interactions and trips. The patients have control of a limited amount of money and options for what they want to spend it on. Overall the entire environement makes me feel satisfied with the Tammerlane Health Facility. "

"My family member was a past resident here while recovering from a hip fracture. The Sterling Pavilion is now under new ownership and is now called The Citadel of Sterling. Since my family member was here for about 8 weeks, I can tell you that I witnessed exceptional, personalized care. Citadel of Sterling provides the resident with compassionate care and their therapy here is out of this world amazing. They have state of the art equipment that helped my family member get so strong in such a short period of time. They worked diligently with us to get her where we wanted her... HOME. So friendly, caring and my family member raved about the food and the one on one attention. The building is beautiful, have a brand new outdoor area which is lovely,It is funny because my family member said she was spoiled when she was there, and now has to come home and misses the fun activities and all the friendly faces. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone I know and I can tell you if you live in IOWA or WISCONSIN it is worth placing your loved one here because this place is the BEST!"

"My father was put here against my will on a Friday.. My father passed Saturday night.. The staff literally left my father unattended to, did not get him to eat or drink. And other clients at free to roam about the halls and his room.. The bathrooms are shared and clients sleeping on the couches as you enter the building.. JUST A VERY DIRTY PLACE IN GENERAL.. And the staff is rude and nasty.. While I was there to visit my father one of the cna 's was taking a client out to smoke dropped another clients cigarette picked it up and put it back in the pack.. Do you really want your loved one here..before I left I told the to get a doctor in there for my dad or call the ambulance and when they did it was to late.. Don't let that happen to your family.. "

"I am in Pinecrest Community. I like that it is in a small country town and I am not dealing with a lot of heavy traffic. The staff is excellent. You can't ask for any better as far as assistance or as far as social support. If you need some attention or need something to be addressed, they are right then and there and they don't hesitate for a moment. They have a very good housekeeping team that work around the patients. They do an outstanding job. They have a couple of different sources as far as the meal goes. They have an in-house meal preparation arrangement in the dining room. If you are bedridden or homebound and unable to go to the dining room. they have a community menu that goes around, you can pick or choose what you decide to have for the meals that day, and they will bring the food to you in a covered container. "

"The rooms are small at Good Samaritan Society Prophets Riverview. It is a small facility. The food is good, and the staff is excellent. It is very clean. They are always there to give assistance. It has a very good atmosphere. "
