"My mother is at The Oaks at Scenic View. It's been fine. It's nice and clean. They could use more staffing, but so could everybody in the world. The staff is very nice. The food is OK. She's having physical therapy and occupational therapy. She's in the rehab side, and they're working on getting her stronger. The courtyard is pretty."

"This was my first time entering this facility. When I entered the facility I was instantly taken back by the smell. Im not sure why it smelled so sour but it was not pleasant. A lot of the workers seemed like they didn't want to be there. I was happy with the rooms at this facility. My Grandmother had a private room so that maybe why I was pleased. After visiting for a while we attended dinner in the dining room, the food was good and had great service. If they took some steps to get rid of the sour smell i would have been much happier with my visit at this facility. My Grandmother only stayed at this facility for a short time so I didn't get a chance to go back a second time. I dont think that I would choose this facility if I ever had to consider nursing homes as an option. "

"My mother was in The Oaks at Limestone for a rehab. I admired their staff and the cleanliness of the place. Also the facility looks nice. The best thing about this facility is the staff. Everybody is very nice and informative. They are well dressed and they are willing to help you with your questions. The rooms are nice and well-decorated. It is a lot like home. I wasn't there all the time so I cannot say what type of activities they had there, but I did like the way they offered mother to do stuff. If I have to put her in a nursing home, that would be the one that I would suggest. "

"The staff care deeply for the residents here. The place is not up to date but its the love that they show to their resident is what matters. They have a variety of activities, wonderful therapy department and experienced nurses. "

"Willowwood is the one I want my mother to go to. That place is strange because it was older. I wouldn't say it is dirty, but it is older and almost like a rundown trailer park. Once I got inside, they had birds in this humongous bird cage. Nobody was in their rooms, and everybody was out like they were having races with the wheelchairs. It looked great because they were not just drugged and left in bed. I talked to a couple of people there, and they seemed extremely happy with that place. They did show me one room. They had just painted it, and it just became available. It was semi-private and was a decent size. I think all the rooms must look like that with two beds, two night stands, and two dressers. I didn't try the food, but the way they do it is like a buffet. They can go into the cafeteria and actually pick what they want which I like. The tables all have flowers and tablecloths on them. They can go and be able to socialize which is a lot better. I don't know how the food was, but the way they presented it, it seems great. They had a fish tank and a lot of them were sitting and watching the fish. It just seems very light and real airy. From what I saw, I would recommend it. "

"My mom is now in rehab at Habersham Home. I think it’s pretty darn good actually, and the staff is good. I’m there quite often. They are currently upgrading and painting, which is good because it needs a good upgrade, and they’re working on that right now. It has a little garden. They do a good job with my mom. It’s not easy work, but they certainly do a good job with it. "

"Lanier Village Estates is a very fine facility. It's not for profit. It has pretty much everything we would need. It's on the expensive side, but not prohibitively expensive. They have a range of facilities available there. They offer various levels of service, which would be independent living, assisted living, and professional nursing care. They have a very nice pool and excellent grounds. There's a walking path that goes down to a cove of Lake Lanier. They have good marketing people, very conscientious, and helpful."

"My brother was there for a short time for rehabilitation. They worked with him going up and down steps and was stronger when he left to go home. The building was clean and the food was satisfactory. Nursing staff was professional."

"My mom is at High Shoals Health and Rehabilitation (Family Life). As far as I'm concerned, my mom is in the best care. We really like it. We chose this place for its reputation. Everything that my mom needs are taken care of. The staff members are very good. The food is excellent. They provide very good activities."

"Since my mother broke her leg, we had to put her into rehab in Friendship Health and Rehab. The facility is an older facility, but it's clean and smells nice. The staff is real helpful and they are very caring. I was very surprised when I first walked in, they're rated very high. They don't have any deficiencies or any of that in their last score. I have to rate them a four only because the facility is old; other than that, if it was a newer building, people would be fighting to get in. I'm happy with them. "

"The people were extremely nice and kind to her. They were helpful for friends and family members. She had a private room and a view of a lovely garden. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable. They never hurt her or gave her any issues. She was bathed on a regular basis and had lots of different things to do there. They had activities for her to do on a regular basis as well. They had Christmas parties, and allowed various churches to come in the home and sing or entertain the residents. Many of the residents were very good friends and they utilized the old piano in thh main room. They had lots of activities that involved the residents and their visitors. Medicines were administered on time and safely. When it was time for my Granny to die, they allowed us as much time and privacy as we needed. I also enjoyed the beautiful grounds that surrounded it. "
