"We are very happy with Chapman Convalescent Hospital. We have not had any problems with the care. We feel that it offers very good care. I have not tasted their food, but it seems to be fine. They have an activities room, and they have bingo, people who play music, card games, and board games. "

"We put my mother in Rialto Post Acute. She's with hospice. It's pretty good. It's very clean. The nurses are compassionate. They care about the patients. It's very nice and it's very big. It's just so far from us, but we try to visit her almost every other day. We take turns with my sisters and brothers. The service is very good. The staff are nice, very courteous, and very helpful. I like that it's very clean, and they change the beddings every day, which is nice."

"Cypress Gardens Convalescent Center is fine and the general appearance is clean, nice, and generally friendly. The staff has been generally good to my son, and if we have to go back again, we wouldn't hesitate. The dining area just needs a new cook. My son has been there for rehab for a while now. They have physical therapy for a certain limited amount of time and it's good. They have average rooms."

"My husband is currently staying at Woodcrest Post-Acute & Rehabilitation. I already told my husband if the time should come that I need to be in rehab, put me there. I would go there. The staff is very friendly and caring. They're treating one patient at a time, and they take their time. No rush. The food is better than expected. The facility is spotless. Right now, he's not doing any activities, but they encourage movement, which is important."

"Extended Care Hospital Of Riverside is nice and the staff is nice, too. Mom's room is clean and there are three residents in it. They have a TV room and a large area to walk around outside. Mom had been here before and we liked it, so that's why we brought her back."

"The staff at Alta Vista is good, but my husband isn't. Wherever he goes, he's going to have somebody that’s going to handle him because he's real mean. Right now they're trying to find a pill that will relax him so he won’t hit somebody; they’re trying to find some medication for him. It’s very nice and very clean, and it seems to be well-run; they're good. They’re doing their job, and I’m satisfied. "

"My mother stayed in Villa Health, and it was really excellent. The people were really friendly, and they did a very excellent job taking care of her. We haven’t had a lot of experience with nursing homes, but it was definitely really good. That was our first experience, and she was there for about six months. Then she had a real accident and went to a different one, and you could tell there was a big difference. The people at Villa were kinder, friendlier, and they knew what they were doing. They really cared, and you can tell that they had a very positive, upbeat attitude about helping. It was excellent. It was like the best in the world. "

"I often visited a friend of mine staying at this facility after he had surgery for esophogeal cancer. Unfortunately after surgery he was unable to speak and could not breathe without oxygen. They provided him with various means of communicating, such as erasable boards and portable typing equipment. When I visited they would always wheel him outside with his oxygen equipment, so he could have a chance to be outside. They were polite and accomodating at all times, providing different outdoor areas for our visits. If they knew what time I was arriving they would already have him set up with portable equipment for his trip outside. They were upbeat and friendly and the accomodations were clean. They got to know me and would ask personal questions based on things I had shared, making me feel they cared about me as well as their patient. "

"My wife stayed at Palm Terrace for about three weeks. She was one of three people in a room, so the accommodations were not that good, and there was a lot of disturbance going on in the room, but the facilities were excellent. The physical therapy and everything else they were doing was very good. The staff was very friendly. They have bingo, and they also had people coming to entertain them, sing a song, dance, and all sorts of things. It is situated in a very nice spot, and it had a very nice view. I liked it very much; it was very nice, but the rooms were not all that good because the place was bustling with activities. There were a lot of people there, and there were a lot of things going on all day long. "

I felt they were short staffed because my husband's complaint was that he was left alone and didn't get service when he rang the bell. However, the nurses' assistants were terrific and had enough to do, but they never walked slowly. He played poker and bingo. "
