The CNA's at Willowbrook are very kind, gently, and very knowledgeable of their job assignments. The CNA's are fun to be around, they make you laugh, and very courteous. They make sure if I have appointments that I get there on time. They have great personalities. They take their time helping you even though they have other residents to assist. Very kind people who I enjoy being around daily. The facility is exceptionally well kept and the meals are also wonderful.

My mom was admitted here after a serious car accident. However, she didn't have life threatening injuries. She needed monitoring for oxygen, AFIB, blood pressure, a broken rib and PT for walking with a walker. Her 1st night there she never received her meds nor were her vitals checked. The 2nd night there they "forgot" to bring her dinner. When she asked for food she was told the cafeteria was closed. She asked for peanut butter crackers and was brought a dry peanut butter sandwich which she couldn't eat. Luckily, her brother and his wife had brought her bananas and oranges earlier in the day. The next day a worker took the wheelchair and folded it and propped it against the wall, then left. It fell over blocking the path to her walker. Several times she rang the bell for the nurse and 1 hr would pass before anyone came. She slipped at one point and was sitting in the floor and no one ever came. When someone finally came into the room she stated that the wheelchair had fallen and the worker replied with a laugh and said "I wondered what all the racket was." Are you kidding me? This place is a joke and a dangerous one at that. It should be shut down!!

My husband is at Willowbrook. They're taking care of him, giving him his medications, and keeping up his hygiene. He goes to the physical therapy room, rides a bike, and does some arm exercises. He gets speech therapy, too. The care is fairly good. They help him with bathing, putting his clothes on, and things like that. They serve three meals a day, and you can ask for snacks. I go and take him to his doctor's appointments. Willowbrook is fairly good at taking care of him. When he calls the nurse, the nurse comes within a reasonable amount of time.

The facility has really taken a change in the past year. Staffing is great. The administrator is friendly and ready to take care of problems. The DON and ADON are amazing and very knowledgable. Staff is very well trained.

Staffing issues and staff are not properly trained to work with Alzheimer's residents. Facility is clean and maintained.

Over the past several years, the facility has gone down hill. For whatever reason an Administrator can not be kept and therefore the nursing staff is sometimes difficult at best. The safety of the residence's has been in question on numerous occasions....no staff in sight. There has been more falls at the facility in recent weeks than seems average. My concern is for the safety of residence and the future of the facility.

I would love to see it keep an administer for more the two month. The have some of the worst attitudes. they use cna's that have never worked on the alzheimer's hall never the less been around the people.which really confusses the patients. i would love for the place to get back in shape and take care of the patients.
