We placed Mom at Avante at Wilkesboro, and everything has been fine. The staff is very good and professional. The rooms are clean and dining area is very nice. I've been eaten there, and the food is good. They hold special events wherein they bring a chef to fix meals for residents and their families. What I like about them the most is the involvement of the staff with the residents. There are lots of activities, including arts and crafts.

Avante at Wilkesboro has wonderful care! The therapy is awesome and very caring and have the best results. The staff was wonderful.

I had a family member stay there for a little over 3 months. And that was the worst mistake the family could have ever made. The member received a bath maybe once a week, had rude, nasty employees. One with pot tattoos on her hands, very rude young CNA's, just all around POS staff. I would never ever want to send anyone there. I feel so bad for the people that have to stay there. If you can, send your loved one somewhere else. They are rated number 1 in therapy. I don't see how, the therapy my member got was maybe twice a week for 30 minutes. They don't care, the patients are just another pay check for them. Please find another Assisted Living facility. There are plenty others in the Wilkes area!!!!!!!
