Allen AME Senior Housing Apartments is like apartment buildings for seniors. It's a place where they can have their own space and their own place. They can cook for themselves. It kind of has compound vibes. It's like a regular brick building. The units themselves are very spacious. For my grandmother at least, I like the fact that it is close enough to all her appointments that if she needed to get on the bus, she could because everything is right there. With regards to location, everything is close by. There's a supermarket up the street, restaurants in the area that she could eat from, a hair salon that's close by in the area that she can get her hair done, and a CVS straight up the street that's very accessible. So I feel like being in that facility, she would be taken care of because she's able to do a lot on her own, and it allows her to be independent and still be able that if she needed help, someone is there on staff to help her. The staff members are very friendly, very welcoming, and very knowledgeable about everything that's going on in the facility. They're a good care team there.
