We chose Penn Yann Manor Nursing Home because it is affiliated with the rehab center that my mother-in-law was at and also the hospital. It's all on the same campus. We're happy with it. The staff is very good. She says she's happy with the food. They have activities like arts and physical therapy kind of things. She is in a semi private room but she has a room for some additional furniture other than what they provide. It looks like what you would expect in a nursing home or a hospital type of setting to be. It is conveniently located and it is affiliated with the hospital so if there are any significant health issues, it's very, very close.
