It was a very difficult decision to have to place my brother in a long term care facility. As a family we are blessed to have our brother in The Hudson Valley Rehabilitation and Long Term care Nursing Home. Everyone from admissions, social worker, therapists, receptionists, And all the nursing staff have been phenomenal. They took the time to analyze my brother and matched him with another resident which was compatible. Just fabulous!!! To my surprise the food has been excellent!!! A nice variety and delicious 😋 His room is clean. The facility is clean. The nursing staff and aides on the 3rd floor are fabulous!!!! We couldn’t be happier with the care our brother Bobby is receiving!!!! Thanks to all who work at Hudson Valley Nursing Rehabilitation and Long Term Care you are all friendly, caring and do on outstanding job!!!!

DIRTY. DIRTY. DIRTY. Please DO NOT, under any circumstances, leave a loved one at this facility. Gave one star because ZERO isn't an option. They boast a renovation and this is probably the area they tour families through when trying to recruit them. The other 90% of the building has not been renovated, or cleaned for that matter, in the past 30 years. Building was sweaty hot on a cool 65° fall afternoon. We were scheduled for sub-acute rehab at Hudson Valley through Kingston Hospital. We were so disgusted by the dirt and disrepair the moment we walked in the door. Even the reception area was old and unwelcoming. The second floor was well below any condition a person should be living in. SLUM conditions. I wish I took photos because it was really beyond unbelievable! We walked directly back downstairs and told admissions there was NO SHOT we were leaving my dad there.

My dad's in Hudson Valley. It's a very nice place with attentive staff who take very good care of him. They have crafts, movies, and church services. It's easy to get to, and a portion of it looks remodeled recently.
