My brother moved into Holiday Manor at Woodside. My brother has a studio, and it wasn't furnished. We brought in his bed and his old furniture. There's a kitchenette there with a microwave. He's able to make popcorn or heat something up. It looks like a hotel. The staff is wonderful and friendly. They let you know that you are family now. Any questions I've had and any concerns are answered right away. I'm very happy. My brother is going to need more than what they provide, and I'm going to have to look into getting some aides to come in. But the place is perfect for him. He's made some friends. There's lots of activity. He's been telling me he's been enjoying them. He's been watching great movies there. He's been playing trivia. I have gotten nothing but really positive feedback from him. There's bingo. He has his own television, but they have rooms with televisions that you can watch with people together. It's like a giant sleepaway camp in a way. These places can be very expensive, and I am grateful that my brother could afford to move here. The value is pretty reasonable, considering what they're getting. They offer laundry services and three meals a day.

I toured Holiday Manor at Woodside. I was impressed with the facility, the size of the apartment, and the cleanliness of it. It was very well kept. The gentleman was very kind and very informative. He answered all my questions very nicely. I had a really good vibe when I left. The facility was very comfortable and had a very nice homey feeling. The studios were a little small for my liking, but the bedroom was a very nice size, and I appreciated that they had two bathrooms where it was easy access if you needed to go.

Hi!! I just wanted to share few things. few months ago I was overwhelmed, My aunt was starting to declined and I am her only support. Went to the Manor at Woodside and I have to say, we have found a new home for her. she has found new friends, she plays bingo, which she never played before, also se finally started eating because she goes to eat at the dining room with her friends. The best decision I have ever made. Thank you Manor.

Mom was at Holiday Manor at Woodside before. It was not very attractive and it's a more industrialized type of living. It's not the cleanest place ever. I was not satisfied with the staff as well. I had to make multiple phone calls back just to get them to do the laundry that they were contracted to do and the cleaning was not adequate. I made multiple calls for just getting one thing done and things I should never have had to call for. So, it's not satisfactory. They had some bingo and some arts and crafts. Nothing elaborate. They didn't have that many things. They had a billiard room with a TV, but it was below average. The food was poor. They went through so many different chefs. When she first got there, it was OK, but then it went downhill. They changed staff completely (numerous times in the kitchen). That was one of the major reasons for leaving because the food was so bad. They can have less turnover in their staff, which they must have turned over completely 3 or 4 times. A couple of times they had some additions, but for the most part, they had a high level of turnover, which led to very unsatisfactory residents' conditions. The food was not good, the service was not good, and the cleaning was not good. They have a lot of room for improvement.

My friend was a past resident of Holiday Manor at Woodside. She is a special case, so it wouldn't be fair, but I feel the place is exceptionally well. It was good. The staff was super excellent. The apartment was a studio and it had ample space. It's comfortable. The bathroom is safe for somebody in her age group. It had a refrigerator and a microwave, but she had her meals in the dining room. She had maybe on occasion snacks or maybe breakfast, a light breakfast upstairs, but most of her meals were in the dining room. They have a nice library. They have a magnifier for people like her that are visually impaired. They have bingo and they have shopping trips. They have a lot of stuff that she does not participate in, but they have it.

I visited Holiday Manor at Woodside, and the place was beautiful. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The clientele were happy to see people and it was a nice apartment house. The staff was nice. He was personable and answered all my questions. He gave me a lot of feedback on their place and gave me a lot to think about. He gave me several menus, and they all looked good.

My friend will move into Holiday Manor at Woodside. When we went here, it was so nice. The people there were it's like you've been living there, they have conversations with you as you're walking through. It's very nice. It's clean. The staff we spoke to that day was so nice. She was very good. My friend will be happy there. They have three meals a day. Everything is included except your cable, which is fine. They have a washer-dryer, which is free. They have a library, they take you to doctor's appointments, they have game night, and they take you out to dinner. It's nice. My friend is so happy that she's going. My friend's room is on the first floor. It's nice and roomy. The light that comes in there from outside is perfect. She has a bathroom in there and a sink. There is a place if they want to cook. They can have family there. They can have dinners there for people. It's awesome. It's so nice.

My mom will be moving into Holiday Manor at Woodside. It's smaller. It just seems like they provided more services for my mom's needs. We did two separate tours. The staff was very helpful and answered all our questions. They had everything ready for us and called us back. We toured the kitchen and the dining room. They do arts and crafts. The library and movies seem to be geared toward people with limitations. They have a salon, and doctors come in. They seem to get the patients up and out and moving.

We liked Holiday Manor at Woodside very much. The thing that we liked the best was they had safety first. They had a lot of safety medallions around the people to push or in the apartments. They showed us the 1-bedroom apartment which had a microwave and a refrigerator, 2 closets, one bedroom, and 2 walk-in baths. It was clean and it smelled nice. They had a patio and a barbecue out there where they had picnics. We made sure that there were fire extinguishers around and that no exits were blocked. We made sure that it was up to code.

Holiday Manor at Woodside was total private pay. If I could afford the place, my mother would be there today. The director was there and he met me. He was very informative and very helpful. We went through the whole place, saw the rooms, and saw plenty of residents. Everybody was outside doing something, in the hallways, talking, socializing. It's a very bright, clean, friendly place. I almost signed my mother up that day to that place because it was so nice. They have day trips they take the people on, and they have transportation. They have a washer and dryer on every floor, so you can do your laundry, or a family member can go and do the laundry for you. They had a library and a TV room. They had a nice outside area where residents could go and sit. They have a family barbecue once a month where a family member can come and they go outside and cook hamburgers and hotdogs and stuff like that.

I looked at a place called Holiday Manor at Woodside. I liked it and I've put down a deposit, but my mom was not interested in leaving her home. It's independent living but they had a dining hall, and they had aides that were subcontracted out by the individual residents on an hourly basis. It was kind of a weird model, but it was a nice place. All the residents that I saw there seemed very happy. There were a lot of activities going on. It was an active place. It was very clean. All the people that work there were friendly and courteous. I thought it was a decent place. There was a courtyard where they could cook in warmer weather. All the people in the hall that we passed just seemed very engaged and happy. I only met the manager and he was good, but I didn't really meet any of the staff. The facility seemed pretty good. It was not brand new, and it was not a high end place, but it was clean and it seemed like it was well maintained.

Raldy (one of the sales associates) is warm, inviting, and empathetic. He put me at ease, when discussing moving my father to assisted living was emotionally difficult. He knew everyone, and it was clear that each person he spoke to enjoyed his company, and it felt like home. There are a lot of activities, there is a lovely communal dining room, and the food (and the food choices) was in a style I would put together myself. It looked appetizing, and it was balanced. This place came greatly recommended, as I knew other seniors who lived there for a time, and they all had rave reviews about it. Now that I've visited twice, I feel comfortable knowing that they were right. I LOVE what I saw, and this place seemed to be the standard I've held up all other assisted living facilities. We will be using this place, when it is time.

My husband will be going to Holiday Manor at Woodside for a trial. The place is bright, cheerful, and clean. His room will be a studio apartment with a refrigerator and a microwave on the counter, and it's got very nice carpeting. There's no furniture, but they're gonna supply it. The sales manager's personality is a plus, he's a great salesman. He's in the right job, and he couldn't be more charming. We saw the dining area, but we didn't eat anything there; they gave us a sample menu. There's a lot of selection on the menu, but it changes weekly, so it was a big selection. They have exercise, they have a bus that takes them shopping or to doctors' appointments, they have birthday parties, and several more activities. The facility looked very, very clean, and they have weekly housekeeping in the apartments.

This is a great place for your parent. They are safe and well taken care. So many wonderful staff members on site taking care of them and keeping them busy with activities. There is a service for cleaning the rooms, laundry and aides to help with personal care. My mother loved all the special activities. So well worth the peace of mind!

After looking numerous places for my mom, the Manor at Woodside stood high above the rest. After meeting with the staff we convinced that this was the place for her. The rooms and common areas are always kept clean and orderly. The staff is warm, friendly and go out of their way to help, And most of all show respect and compassion to all the residents. During COVID they did an outstanding job of keeping the residents safe and comfortable, while keeping the families well informed. After mom broke her hip and came back to the Manor she show remarkable improvement in her health. The aides did and are taking great care of her. I consider the staff and aides at the Manor like family.

My 92 year old mother in law resides in The Manor. In August she had a fall and broke her hip. This completely changed the outlook for the rest of her life. She spent two months in an awful rehabilitation facility and left there never to walk again. We started to look into nursing homes since she was not able to live independently. That was until the staff at The Manor told us to bring her home, that they would take care of her. Home is The Manor. Not only do the staff and aids meet her every need, they treat her as if she was their family member. I can honestly say that they love her and are meeting her every need with compassion, care, concern, kindness, and gentleness. They talk to her, encourage her to get out of bed, they take her our of her room to walk through the halls, and feed her. The entire work force of The Manor go above and beyond what I ever expected or hoped for. My mother in law will live out the rest of her life at The Manor knowing that she is loved and important.

I have been very impressed with Holiday Manor at Woodside. My niece, who I was viewing the residence with, felt that her mother might need a little bit more home care than would be provided at The Manor at Woodside. The rooms were fairly spacious and well-appointed. My impression of the staff was very favorable. They seemed to be very concerned and knowledgeable of their residents. They knew them all by name, their little quirks, and their interests as we walked through the facility. I was impressed that they do share the community with their residents by participating in activities outside of the residence and in the larger community.

This facility is very clean and well maintained. Raldy and the entire staff are wonderful -- very friendly, helpful and treat residents and their guests like family. They go out of their way to help you with anything and everything. The have activities daily and on weekends. The rooms are a good size and bathroom has roll in shower . I recommend The Manor highly.

From the beginning the Manor felt like family. My father did not want to go there and now he does not want to leave. He loves everyone and everyone loves him. Everyone cares for everyone there. I have even seen the office manager help a resident that has a dog assist them in getting the dog in their room. So even the animals there feel like it is home. The manor is an "Independent" living facility, however, don't let that keep you from having a loved one with special needs live there. My father has an aide that has become family to us. In fact, I cannot think of anyone that works that I would not consider my extended family. If you need anything taken care of it, just ask and it will be.

I went to look here and it seems like a place that my mom would like. The staff is very friendly. The people who are staying there seem very friendly and outgoing. The place is very clean. From what I've seen, it's very convenient for my mom to be able to go downstairs and get three meals a day. If she can't, or she doesn't feel comfortable going downstairs, they'll bring food up to her. There's a laundry facility on site. They have a salon and a barbershop downstairs. They have a movie room that they offer a movie night with popcorn and stuff. They have bingo. They do take them off-site for trips, like to the Perkins or a new restaurant or Walmart. They offer services to take them to their doctor's offices, which is also a big help for people who work full time, and can't take their parents to their doctor's appointments.

I like the location because it's right next to the hospital and all the doctors' offices. All the medical services are very nearby, so that's a very good advantage. You do your own laundry here, or you pay extra to do your laundry. They have facilities to do your own laundry, so that could be a more independent route and save some money. They have activities and classes. The common areas had all the things but were a little more dated and not quite nicely furnished. It was clean and well maintained. The carpeting of the rooms was older. They weren't replacing carpeting in between tenants like they do with the other facility. They have three meals a day in a dining area. The price point was lower too. We didn't have a lot of interaction with the staff. The salesman was very friendly and responsive. They seem to have a good thriving community there. They just didn't have the 24-hour medical staff.

My mom was very happy with the manor. The rooms were spacious and accommodating to her needs. She immediately made friends with other residents and staff and quickly felt at "home". As her daughter, anytime I had requests they were immediately acted upon. The home care aides were excellent !! They were warm, friendly and always caring.

My parents are here. We opted for a smaller studio. It's pricy, but they also make three gourmet meals per day, so my dad doesn't have to heat the place with his oven. It's a studio, so it's a bedroom and living room and it was fully handicapped equipped from the bathroom and down the hallway. They all had hand railings the whole length. It's all made for the seniors. Our concern was to get them somewhere where they could be together and safe. They're on the first floor. We were thinking that with the shower being handicapped accessible, mom can roll her wheelchair right in there. She could take a shower in her wheelchair and then towel dry the wheelchair once she's transferred into her chair or something. We like the fact that it was so handicapped accessible and everything was ready to go. You can hire an aide and they may end up having to go that route just because my dad's not strong enough to do the shower transfer. In the shower, they have a foldable seat that's up against the wall, but you can lay it down. It's a seat, so if you didn't want to use a wheelchair, you could transfer to that, but my mom's occupational therapist didn't recommend my dad doing it because she was thinking of the full hazard of him not being strong enough. They may slip in there and the next thing, both of them go down. The salesperson is great. The general manager is great. They know the hundreds of people that are there by name. He knows everybody. They've been through the pandemic with the mask and everybody was probably wearing masks. They've been tremendous in trying to help my dad cope. It's pricy, but you get what you pay for. They've been talking highly about the food that it's so good. They have activities all over the place. The facilities are clean. They're actually in the process of renovating. They're gonna tear down some old wallpaper and paint the halls and everything like that. It's pretty good.

Hoping to convince my elderly mother-in-law to move closer to family, my husband and I recently looked at the Manor at Woodside, a senior apartment complex that combines independent living with accessible amenities. The studio apartment we looked at includes a small kitchenette, although she would eat her daily meals in the spacious dining room (included in the monthly fee). While it’s not an assisted living facility, the Manor has affordable caregivers (home health aides) onsite to provide help with residents’ personal needs (independently operated, not included in monthly fee). We found the atmosphere at the Manor very welcoming. The building is bright and clean, with wide, well-lighted hallways. The staff members we met were very personable and incredibly helpful. They listened attentively and offered suggestions for her smooth transition. Although Mom has resisted our efforts so far, we know The Manor will be our first call if she changes her mind.

We toured here and it was very good. The staff showed us a good, nice-sized room, and the person was very good. My relative will be going in there this weekend; we signed to go there. I guess they are still eating in their rooms. The place was clean. They have a very nice, long porch where they could sit outside. His window looks out on the center courtyard.

Due to a series of unfortunate events at the beginning of March, my mother had to leave her room at another assisted living home in the area, transfer to a nursing home and then at the height of the Covid 19 crisis have to find a new assisted living facility. The Staff at the Manor at Woodside worked with me to give me a virtual tour, weekly calls with updates and eventually a seamless transition into their home just in the nick of time. The rooms are clean and efficient, as they were at her other facility, but at a third of the cost. The staff genuinely enjoys being there and helping their "family". Raldy - I'm not even sure what his actual job is there - will help you with every thing from "we need a lamp" to "can you go into my mom's room and see why her phone isn't ringing" and any other above and beyond requests you may have. Activities are just beginning again, due to the Covid precautions, but my mom has been attending some chair exercise classes and I heard BINGO is back in action too... The grounds are lovely, residents sit outside on the patio and walk their dogs (and someone even walks her cat)... my mom says the food is surprisingly good, and she got a super cute haircut at the salon recently. I can't wait to experience the Manor when it is less restricted, after the scare of Covid has passed. My mom is definitely doing better there than she had been at the last place, and the few residents I have met have been lovely! I can't say enough nice things about the Manor at Woodside.

The whole staff at the Manor at Woodside have all been so friendly and personable in making the transition into the new apartment for my grandparents as easy as possible. The communication between myself, my family, and the Manor has been professional, and timely. They have been working with us and guiding us in what we need to know for doctors, transportation for appointments, aids, and more. They have been great to work with, and we are very satisfied with the service thus far.

I’ve seen the rooms which are very nice. There’s studios, one bedrooms and suites depending on what you are seeking. The staff members are very friendly and working will well together. There are some issues that needs to be fixed but overall it’s a great place and affordable. The activities are suitable for the residents needs and there’s a community bus available for the off property events and activities. Other amenities are available in the cafe area and free WiFi also this is COVID free. My family’s friend has resided in this facility for the last six Years and he’s been happy.

I'm currently at Manor at Woodside. They've been terrific with the whole virus thing. All the people are really good and go out of their way for you. I like my room a lot. It's worth the money with all the extra services they have. Before the virus hit, I was getting shuttle service in a wheelchair. They do the laundry, clean the room, and provide meal services. I have a studio with a kitchenette, a microwave, and a little refrigerator. Everything I need is there. We used to have a dining area that we go to, but now they deliver the meals to the room. The bathroom is large with lots of handicap accessibility. They have a library, lots of activities, movies, games, bingo, and morning exercises.

The staff is very helpful. The initial entry way had a smell of urine, but when I went back a couple of weeks later, they had a company cleaning the rugs. I thought that was great. They got me a hospital bed storage and brought it up to my dad's room. They didn't have to, so I thought that was above and beyond. They're extremely helpful. The Manor at Woodside seems to be a very nice place. The food looks OK. They have a room with books and a computer, but they don't have a gym or a physical therapy center. I wish they had that. They have an area where they do teaching and activities at a long table in the room. They have a game room where they have a pool table and a card table. They have a van that will take my dad to all of his appointments. That's very nice too. My dad's room looks very nice. They painted it and put in a new carpet. For my visit, the sales person was great. It is very nice on the outside. The place is a little outdated, but I think it is very nice. I was impressed with The Manor at Woodside so I didn't even want to look at anything else. For the price, I think it is going to be great. I think it is a great place.

I visited and I liked it very much, the people there were very friendly, and the food was outstanding. The rooms seemed to be nice, and the staff was wonderful. They met me at the door, took me to the dining room, placed me to sit with some very interesting people, and took me around the facility. We ended up having a nice chat and they even walked me to where my driver was waiting. The dining area was lovely, and everything was perfect.

We like it and my mother-in-law's studio apartment is very nice, very spacious, and very clean. The bathroom is large and has a nice walk-in shower and a very large walk-in closet. She has been playing bingo. I saw a library, washer and dryer on each floor, cafeteria on the main floor, lots of outdoor areas for them to sit outside, and quite a few indoor areas or community areas for them to sit and talk. They always have something to do every day.

My mom is in here. She likes it and the social activities. They have a bus that takes her around, which she is happy with. She meets a lot of nice people. She is fairly happy with the food, which is institutional food, but if she does not like something, she can always get a regular hamburger or cold cut sandwiches. The room is nice. We put in our own furniture. One of the hallways had a urine smell once, which is a little bothersome to me.

We visited and everything was great. The only issue we had was we were quoted a price, and at the end of the tour, he told us that it was short term price that was only good for the next few days and that we had to lock in and move her then, which was not previously known. The room was very hotel like. The size was nice, and it was all handicapped accessible with a small kitchenette. The person that assisted me was very nice. They had different activities all day long like exercise classes and crafts.

I thought everything at The Manor was good. I just had a walk-through, and it was maybe 15 or 20 minutes. The residents appeared to be happy. It was a bright atmosphere, and it looked like they keep the residents relatively busy, keeping their minds working. It looked like they strive to get the residents to communicate with each other, so relationships appear to be very big in the service they provide. People who go their brand spanking new, they apparently try to get them connected with others in the facility so they are not alone, and so that looked to be a big success. We really didn’t sample their meal, but it appeared that residents have choices of the standard meals or breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And then, if they just want to order off the cart, they can always go for hamburgers or something else. The meals were good. The rooms were small, and there was no cooking in the rooms. If they wanted to make their own meal to that effect, there was no ability to do that. They did have the microwave but no stove or anything like that. There was plenty of parking. It looked like there are some outings, and in addition to these outings are various events that they have. In terms of the prices, all of these facilities are very expensive, but this one seemed to be on the lower end in terms of price.

It was very nice, beautiful, and very elegant. The people seemed lovely and happy there. It’s very well run. We saw a lovely room, and the fact that we can put her pictures there was good. The dining room was beautiful, and the common room was very lovely and clean. The food was good. However, they didn’t have good medical care.

It is classified as independent living, and my mother does have some long-term insurance, so we need someone that can accept assisted living. I thought it was a very comfortable place. It was very homey, it had living rooms, and it was accessible. It had elevators, and the appearance and staff were excellent, so this was favorable. Unfortunately, they did not have any kind of an exercise room. I think they were planning to purchase an adjacent area, but they did not have it at that time, and they did not have a pool. However, they do have the activity schedules and activity room, and they do give movies, so they have a lot of the normal type of perks for this type of living environment. One thing I did notice was that the food was so-so. We did go for a meal, and I think they could enhance this aspect a little.

Everything is perfect! It is just exactly a very good fit for my mother. It’s clean, nice, fun, safe, protective, caring, and attentive. There they have chaperoned trips, bingo, exercise, and religious services, so it’s nice. The atmosphere is beautiful. I'd recommend it. My mother’s happy and comfortable.

It offers quite a few activities just about every day including the weekends. Its location is convenient to bus transportation. I would highly rate them because they had the convenience of being close to places like shopping. I heard some people who have had their relatives there and they were giving good feedback.

We visited before my father passed away. The staff was professional and respectful. The place is very clean and well-maintained. It's a wonderful facility.
