We went to look at St. Joseph's Seniors Home. My mom said specifically that she would like to go to a Catholic facility. It's reasonably closer to me than some of the other facilities that my mom has considered in the past. The rooms are adequate. Nothing is super fancy or anything like that. It's run by nuns, so the staff members are very caring people. They seemed very interested in their residents. I think the dining area is a multipurpose room. I got there, and they were doing some physical therapy. A young physical therapist was leading an exercise program, and a good number of residents were there. It's a small facility. They have daily mass, which is a big plus for my mom. They have a surrounding courtyard area that is beautifully kept. The grounds are impeccable.
