The people here at Holiday Country Squire are very friendly. They got good staff here and they care for your needs. They're very helpful. The food is unbelievable. It's really good and they have good desserts. This building is the cleanest building that I have ever been in, in my life. The maid service here is unbelievable, how they take care of your place and how they take care of the hallways, dump the trash, and vacuum the rug. It's really nice. They have all kinds of activities and programs that you can participate in, like bingo, and they have bands come in on weekends. They take you out to Wal-Mart and to shopping. They got their own bus. It's worth every dime of my money. It's one payment and you get everything. As a matter of fact, you get more for your money.

I'm at Holiday Country Squire. I'm very satisfied living here. I am very happy. It is a great place to live. The staff is all very good. There are about four managers. Mark is the head man. Their attitude towards the residents is very good. The meals are fine. There is a variety and you have choices of what you want to eat. Our apartments are cleaned once a month and the building is kept up. We play all different kinds of games, and they have a variety of things that you can do.

Rooms are very nice, comfortable, and safe. Depending on what type of apartment you decide on, remember it is small and you will not need much furniture or “stuff” You are furnished 3-meals a day, apartment cleaning weekly, laundry facilities, great activities, and lots of warm, friendly new friends. Menu is varied with a main entree and always other choices available if you you don’t care for the main entree. You have salad/soup, main course, vegetable, dessert plus there is fruit available and of course, drink. The staff is super fun and will answer any of your questions; maintenance is available if you need something fixed; lots of fun with activities, outings, Country Squire bus service is fantastic to get you to and from appointments, handicap accessible and help on and off bus. I felt welcome, safe, valued, and a friendly warmth from staff and other residents when I came here to live. I’m very comfortable and happy here.

I went to Holiday Country Squire. It was going to be pretty far away and my father had to do his own laundry there. He can't see to set the dials on and that was the downfall. It was a nice facility. They had activities for them and stuff. The general appearance was nice. They showed a one-bedroom and a studio. I know they were doing bingo, but I'm not sure of the other activities. The staff was very friendly. The facilities looked very clean. They allow small pets, so that was kind of nice.

What I liked best about Holiday Country Squire was the price, and Tiffany was very informative and she answered a lot of my questions. My dad had stayed there about four years back or so and so we had experience with that. It's just so busy and it has so much going on. There are so many people. It's not quiet and personal or anything like that. I did like the fact that they had the office of a senior care provider there, which we use, so that would've been nice. Tiffany was not a pressure salesman or anything. She understood my situation. I ate there when dad lived there previously and the food was very good. There were many facilities and many things that were available there. Because of their large population, they're able to offer those. They have an exercise room, a salon, and a little family area, so if your family wants to get together with the person that's living there, you can use that. They had a pool table, and games, and they bring in speakers. It was pretty thorough.

Holiday Country Squire was an apartment but like a nursing home. They had a great big fireplace, a library, and live entertainment coming in at lunchtime. It was nice, but when we went up to the rooms, they had like a moldy smell. There wasn't enough parking, so we could hardly get in there to park. It just wasn't what we were looking for. The rooms were a little disappointing because they were small. They had a little refrigerator, like something you could just store a couple of snacks in. They could enlarge their parking area and have a bigger refrigerator. The staff members were very nice.

Holiday Country Squire was well-maintained. Tiffany was very knowledgeable about the facility. She just wanted to ensure that whatever we chose, it would best fit for my parents (even if it wasn't going them). I really appreciated that she wasn't pushing something on us that wasn't a good fit. I was able to see the dining area, the activity room, the gym, and a few different layouts of units. Their activity schedule seemed full. They have some group exercises, bingo, poker games, and a pool table.

Country Squire is a fairly large facility. There's a variety of people that are already there and it seems they have the available support for my brother, in terms of three meals a day, transportation in case he wants to go shopping or go to the nearby medical hospital where his doctors mostly are, and the activities they provide. So, it had a lot of good points to it. They were also very friendly and accommodating. It's not a facility that offers a full-time assisted living, which I think is okay, but we can arrange for some assisted living support if it is necessary. So, they were very helpful with that and they had some people in the same building who specialize in that sort of arrangements. He is going to have an efficiency apartment that has a bathroom in it, a shower, a kitchen, and then living space. It's a little less than 400 square feet, so it's kind of small, but it is sufficient for what he's got. It's got good closet space, and it's pretty quiet and nice. They offer a lot of activities every day, like a Halloween party, taking the residents out to eat at the local once a week, and there's reasonably good walking space around the building, which is good for someone who needs to exercise, as he does. They have an exercise room and it looked good, too, and a nice library. The food was not very impressive for me, though.

We went to the Country Squire. I liked the people. It was a very nice, clean area. I mean, I think it would be a great homey place. Probably the only negative thing that I would think about it is they have one elevator and we had to wait quite a while for that, but that is the only negative thing that we've seen. They've got a lot of different amenities, a lot of activities. I mean, the idea that they said staffing has been around for a long time, we were very impressed. The rooms were large, they said that they redo every room before somebody moves in, with carpet, flooring, painting. They do have a lot of balcony rooms, which is wonderful, but in the balconies, there's no view. You get the highway on one side and the building on another side. There's nothing that they physically said or did that was negative. It was all very, very good.

I thought the tour I had at Country Squire went well. It's independent living and I was impressed with it. The staff were all very cordial. The places that I looked at had all been completely remodeled, and with all-new carpet and new cabinets. It was also very clean. The food was delicious. I'm not used to that where I am, and I like the way they handled it when the meals were served. I tried their food and it was delicious, much better than what I'm used to so naturally I was impressed. It was very good and they had healthy food. I know besides the regular meal, you could get something healthy, and they also had a sandwich of the day. There was plenty of fruit out, I guess you just get it throughout the day if you want. I would have liked to stay longer but I had an appointment to get to at 1:00, so my time was cut short. The staff who assisted me was wonderful, and she has stayed in contact with me. It looked like there were a lot of activities going on, and there was an exercise group going on. They had a nice exercise room with quite a bit of equipment. They had a place where you could play bridge, they had a church service, and there was a nice library. The cleanliness, from what I saw, was very good, especially in the rooms that I looked at. I thought the carpet in the halls and foyer could be replaced though, they were pretty worn out. The kitchen and the servers all looked clean to me. It's a large facility and it's an old building.

I live here in Country Squire. I enjoy it here. I'm doing fine. I'm enjoying the sociability of it. They have many things here for us to do. They provide entertainment besides the three meals and housecleaning services. They have bingo, arts and crafts, entertainment, music come a couple of times a week, and we exercise. We have a country store that we all take advantage of. We have a fact or fiction, bean bag baseball, Wheel-of-Fortune, poker walk on Fridays, Women's Book Club, current events for men, and they take us out once in a while to eat. They have a beauty salon and an exercise room. There are about four machines there. They don't have a treadmill, but they have a thing that pushes your feet. They also have a library, a card room, an activity room, and an atrium where we have some donuts and coffee once a week.

I did an in-person tour of Country Squire. Right now, with all these things going on, I didn't see a lot of activities. It was a very nice place and big. The halls were very big and spacious. The dining area was very nice and very large. They had little kitchenettes in the rooms. I saw a studio, a one-bedroom, and a one-bedroom that was larger with a big balcony. The first floor had backdoors, and it was pet friendly. They were very nice. Everything was included. I couldn't have been more satisfied with the person who gave me the tour. He was very pleasant, polite, and went out of his way to show me more rooms or apartments than I expected. Everything seemed fine there. I've seen and spoke with a couple people, and they were very friendly. With COVID, they're serving the meals in their rooms. I have a sister-in-law there, so I know the meals are being served in the rooms, and I heard the food is very good. There were a lot of activities on-site.

Country Squire was nice. The room was more like a studio apartment, and it was nice. The dining area was roomy. I would have been happy to live there myself if I had to. It was private pay though, and no nursing assistance after 8:00. The staff was very generous with their time and very easygoing. The place was clean, too.

The room is very nice. The facility is very nice. The staff is friendly however the housekeeping is terrible, the girl does not clean at all. The bathroom does not get cleaned, the furniture does not get dusted and the kitchen does not get cleaned or even wipe down the counter. There are ants all over the kitchen. The food is terrible. The offerings are tasteless and overcooked. The portions are very very small and not emough to feed a grown person. Things were much better 2 years ago under different management. Bobby was great. They encouraged familes to visit and join in the meal. That is not allowed anymore. The staff does not seem as welcoming or interested the the residents at all. Except Cody, she is very kind. We are in the process of looking for a different facility.

Country Squire was a great place, but we can't afford it right now. I saw some ladies doing some crafts and some were playing cards. I saw a few different activities. The staff was very friendly, very informative, and very helpful. I didn't eat the food, but it looked OK.

Country Squire is fabulous and top of the line. It's wonderful and we're very pleased with it. We love it. My dad's apartment is lovely and we like it a lot. The food is great and they have nice activities, like bringing people in to do music, play Jeopardy, and play football games for them. There's male-oriented activities, and mixed activities like Bingo and other games.

My mom moved into Country Squire. They've kept up on the maintenance, but the meals haven't been the best, and a lot of times they'll have hotdogs at night or ham sandwiches. I'm not very happy with the meal situation. She's trying to get a downstairs apartment because she has a dog. They have a lot of activities, like bingo, Wheel of Fortune, and bean bag stuff. The building layout is great, but they could use another elevator because it gets crowded with all the walkers.

I liked Country Squire. We just had one person that we talked to who took us on a visit and she was nice, friendly, and she followed up three or four different times after the visit to see if we still had interest or if there were are any questions. It was laid out better and it was more open than other places, but it was a smaller apartment for the price. The dining area looked nice and there were a lot of people there eating. It was a nice open area and it looked fine.

My mother-in-law is in Country Squire now. They are just great. They are there 24/7, and they have a nurse available for the residents, so it is just really nice. We have eaten there a couple of times, and the food is excellent. She has a one-bedroom apartment with a shower, a little kitchen-type area, and a living area. It also has a nice balcony where she puts her flowers.
