My mom lives in Stonecrest and we like the people very much. It's a very nice facility. They have a therapy room and a nice cafeteria. Her apartment is quite nice too. Sometimes the food is a little salty, I think, for older people with health issues, but overall, it's quite a nice place with a nice staff. The place is also very clean. They come in and vacuum a couple of times a week. They're rather short-staffed though, so they're not making the bed really carefully, but that's kind of a problem with staffing right now for everybody. So, it's not their fault. They have a garden that overlooks a kind of a pond. It's pretty good sized with ducks and all that sort of thing, and a balcony where people can sit at. They have a lot of activities for the residents as well.

Stonecrest is a small community, but it's very fresh-looking inside. The staff was very accommodating. We felt welcome there. We did not eat the food, but they had culinary chefs who worked there. The staff who gave the tour was very informative. She answered our questions. I told her we're new looking into stuff like this, so we needed all the information we could get, and so she provided a lot. She even made a follow-up call with me and asked how things were going. The place was recently remodeled, and it looked very fresh inside. They had newer furniture and newer carpeting. Everything looked nice in there.

We went to Stonecrest. The cool part of it is, because of Minnesota being so cold, it is connected by a walking bridge next door to almost like an indoor arboretum, the YMCA, and the public library. You can just walk through the sky bridge to get those things without ever having to leave outside. We like it. It was very active. There are people out and about, they're playing bingo, and they're hanging out in the fireplace. It looked like a really fun community to live in rather than the one in my mom's which feels more like a nursing home. The staff who walked us through was excellent. They were very informative in what they could and couldn't do, and then followed up with us to see if we made a decision and asked if there was anything they could do, so they were very good. I like that access to the library, the garden, and the YMCA, and it was all connected. There were people everywhere there. They're just out, they're milling around, and they're talking and having fun. Like I could live there, and what we like, was the apartments, and my mom would prefer to have an apartment. They had full kitchens, they were bright, sunny inside, and they were good sized. They had more storage in some of the places. It's a very large facility. They have a theater, they have lots of common areas where people can hang out, they have activities going on, and they were building things. There were schedules out with different activities that they could participate in.

My mother has been there for about two years and we could not be happier with the care she receives there. The Staff is very friendly and kind to her and our family. They are excellent at communicating with us especially during this difficult time of covid-19. They have been very intentional with covid precautions and we feel my mother is very safe there. The food is excellent and my mother is always treated with respect and kindness by the staff. I would highly recommend this place to anyone

Stonecrest has been excellent. The old people act young and there are lots of activities going on here on a daily basis. They have anything you want to do. They have buses to take you places, and the food is excellent. They're willing to help and they have an open door policy. My room is excellent, big, airy, light, with lots of windows. We have a beauty salon, exercise room, and a library. We're connected with an overpass to the Woodbury Library and the Central Park, and it also goes directly to the YMCA. It's top notch. We have beautiful entranceways, fireplaces, and a gorgeous deck outside. We have exercise classes, lots of machines, and an exercise person who comes in.

They've got lots of activities for the people to do at Stonecrest. They've got a nurse on duty all the time. The food service is great, but I'm not real crazy about the food. We've got a mechanic on duty that can help with anything that needs to be done. We have a button that summons the staff to come right away to help us. The staff is wonderful and helpful. They have a lot of activities like games, bingo, quilting, knitting, and a walking group. There's also a beauty parlor. The building is very nice. They have beautiful carpeting and nice, big windows. I'm very happy with it.

My relatives like Stonecrest very much, but they have to get used to being in a small place. They have a 2-bedroom apartment, and it is very small, but they made it look very nice with a nice kitchen. They can eat in their own kitchen or eat downstairs. They have activities like movies and concerts, and they could go to the library in YMCA. It is not ideal for them, but it's a good place. It had a separate room where they could entertain a larger group. They have trips to theaters, concerts, and ball games. They also have entertainments come to them.

The main reason we didn’t care too much for Stonecrest was that it was a little farther out, and we just wanted to be a little closer to our daughter. The staff was good, and the people were really friendly. It had more of a rural community setting than some of the others we looked at.

I lived at Stonecrest in the independent living apartments for over 2 years. My husband had died several years earlier and my children knew I needed to be around people. I was very apprehensive about moving but in time I realized this is what I needed. The residents are the most warm and welcoming people I've ever met. There are so many actvities offered that there is an interest for everyone, from Bible Study to sewing groups, exercise, etc. The staff is wonderful. Everyone knew my name. I was sad to leave but my health had deterioriated and I moved in to my daughter's home.
