My grandmother has moved into Valley Home. She's in assisted living as of now, but she's moving to memory care shortly. It was near where she previously lived, and she likes it there. The staff is wonderful. It's just a very nice community. It's excellent. They keep everything clean. They have three meals a day and they have some sort of activity, whether it's bingo or stuff like that. She said the food is good. It lacks a little salt, but that's given for the place. They have like a bird watching area and an open auditorium area.

I toured Valley Home. It seems like they were busy communicating with people, and people were willing to help you. The staff was very helpful. We didn't try the food, but we saw their menus that they write up for every day and every meal. The rooms are small. It's an older facility, but they have nice common rooms and places where people can get out of their rooms for. They have gatherings every day, including social and various activities. The community was caring, smaller, and felt comfortable.

My mom is a resident of Valley Home. Absolutely every one of their personnel I have met seem to be very caring and genuinely concerned about their residents well-being. They have always seemed to be in good spirits and you can see the results in the way the residents react to this.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Most of rooms are one room; there are a few apartments. Dining area is sunny. They should add wireless, some more variety at meals such as yogurt, more fresh fruit and vegetables, also more activities in the facility and options to go out of the facility residents could sign up and pay extra for. My mother is very happy there.
