I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My family member has been a resident on Blossom Ridge since it was opened. the facility is beautiful and his early experience was wonderful. The staff is also very friendly and helpful to all their needs. The main issue has always been with regards to the restaurant service...it is well below what it should be. While there appears to be plenty of staff, the service is very slow and unattentive. It has been getting worse over time. It has gotten to the point that he has turned from a defender to an outright critic. It is poorly managed. Another issue I have personally seen is with regards to the assisted living portion. Once again, there are residents that are requesting help and spend 20-30 minutes waiting. This facility has wonderful potential, but it's management is falling short of the expectations.

I visited this facility
I toured the independent living part of Blossom Ridge. I liked the 2-bedroom, 2-bath ranch with an attached garage. I was very impressed with it. It's only about 3 years old so everything was new. The gentleman that gave us the tour was excellent. He just answered all of our questions, and I felt comfortable just going in there. They have a swimming pool and exercise programs. They have art classes and excursions so they keep you as busy as you want to be. The place is beautiful. It's in a wooded area with some trails around the complex so it's very pleasing. We had lunch there too and it was excellent. The dining room was beautiful. There was enough lighting and space between the tables.
