"My church got involved with Eden Villa as a sort of adoption project. We we started out by taking them cookies, lemonade, ornaments, flowers, etc. just on special holidays like Christmas, Halloween and Easter. Gradually the program evolved to a once a month project where we would bring lemonade and cookies the last Saturday of every month. Our purpose was to provide company and companionship to those that many people in society had forgotten about. Fortunately, the people at Eden Villa were very well cared for. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, the facility was extremely neat and clean. When we mentioned we would like to come every last Saturday of the month, the facility director was more than happy to accommodate us. They even provided the lemonade and cookies. All we had to do was show up with smiles on our faces. There was plenty for the residents to do there from movie watching to courtyard sitting. There was a shuttle service that would take them from place to place as well. "

"I visited The Parkview, and I liked it very much. It had very good service, but the price was high. I needed to wait until they had vacancy for the low price. They had a one-bedroom and a studio, and I thought the studio was good already. They do exercise, and they had 24-hour care. They had better than average service. "

"Sunol Creek Memory Care specializes in memory care, so their staff is trained to deal with people who have memory issues such as dementia or confusion. They know how to treat my friend. The staff talks to him and is nice to him. He has a private room, and we had to bring the furniture. He has a little TV that his family bought for him, as well as a bed, a small sofa, a chair, and a reading lamp. They have common areas where they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They encourage residents to come to the common eating area, but sometimes the residents prefer to have their meals served in their rooms. They have an area for arts and crafts activities, and in their reception area, they offer good chocolate chip cookies."

"The staff and facilities were superb. The entire was well kept and the people there were very welcoming. When we visited, there was a pianist performing. The food there was healthy, but very good enough to eat that I wouldn't complain. The artwork in the building itself are quite beautiful. The staff was very kind to the residents and very kind to their visitors. They seemed quite organized and thoughtful in every way possible. The facility was very easy to find, but very small on the outside. Inside is a different story, it seems a lot larger. This, of course, resulted in my getting very lost seeing as I underestimated the building. It was very difficult for me to find my way around. But the staff were very courteous in helping me find my way. Every employee was very respectful to the Jewish history and also respectful to the tenants. I enjoyed my visit there a lot. "

"I'm hoping to move into TreVista Senior Living. They're very proactive. They want your business. They were very competitive on the price cost per month. I went back and talked with the people at TreVista Antioch, and I had to go for the evaluation. Their nurse asked a ton of questions. I answered them all and maybe I shouldn't have, but I told her I had a problem and so she wanted to see it. Then today they called me and said that it concerned the nurse, and it seemed right at a stage that "any facility like ours would probably put you on hold until it's healed." The staff members I met were all very friendly and topnotch with what they did, but now I'm kicked off after today's conversations and I got to abide by their rules. The day I was there for my tour, they packed me a lunch; it was good. The facility looked in topnotch condition. I only saw two rooms: a studio and a shared room. If I go there, I'm going into a studio (and it's more than enough room for me). It had a kitchenette, a bathroom, a bedroom and a living room. Location wasn't a big motivator for me, but it boiled down to the money. If I progress and get worse, then obviously the cost will go up. It's three stories; you can look over the balcony of one of the floors. There's a dining area, a movie room area, and a game area."

"I toured, and in other places that I visited, it was more like a hospital feeling when you went in there, but it wasn't like that at all. It was like normal living. It was very, very nice inside. They have three separate buildings, depending on the care, and they're all beautiful. They're just lovely. If I can afford it, that's where I put my dad in. The apartments were nice and spacious, with a huge, big walk-in bathroom. They had places where they would sit and do their activities and sing. They had a separate area so you could go with family when they came over. You have a separate place, or you can talk to them on the phone, where you can get peace in talking to them. And then, right in the middle, they had a little kitchen, so when they weren't having breakfast, lunch, or dinner, they always had snacks going 24/7 if anyone wanted snacks. That was neat, and the atmosphere was nice. They had fireplaces and pianos. It's very homey and comfy when you walk there."

"Golden Haven is a facility that is very specific for Alzheimer's and dementia patients only. The facility inside is great. It's very clean. The support staff is really unique. They take really good care of my mom. They are very secure so they don’t get a lot of wanders. We are really, really pleased with them. Her room is very nice and it is setup exactly for her needs. The whole person is setup around caring for people with memory problems. Their dining is very nice and the food is very good. They do a lot of painting which is great because my mom is a painter. They also have music and they have games. "

"I'm sorry it has taken me so long to write this review. It has been a year since my Mother passed to her Heavenly home, but I want to write this regardless to maybe encourage others that need these services to consider Bethany in Ripon. My experience working with them started on the basis of home health services. My mother needed assistance with basic living needs, even though she was very reluctant to admit it. I reached out to Bethany and both Bonnie and Pam were very professional and understanding as to the situation. I am an only child and live several hundred miles from Ripon, and as time went on, I was unable to provide the level of care she needed. They came to her home and counseled her as to the services they could provide. When I was not able to be be there in person, they allowed me to participate by phone. We worked through a customized plan to meet her needs, allowing us to make changes as we went along. The level of care they provided was stellar! The people actually providing the services were excellent. Bethany employs a very positive, but strict code of conduct. When it came time to utilize skilled nursing, Bethany was very helpful in working through that transition. It was particularly challenging as this was during the prime of the covid 19 crisis. If you think that is an easy process, especially dealing with medicare and insurance companies, you are very mistaken. Cindy oversees the entire organization, and I had many conversations with her and her team of absolute professionals. They are caring, and willing to work with reasonable specific needs. They are just really good people caring for your loved ones as a ministry of service. I can't thank them enough for the care and help they gave my mother and our family all the way up to her passing. If you have a loved one that is needing assisted health services, all the way from basic home health assistance to skilled nursing services, I can attest they are the best I've seen or heard of, based on other reviews of other facilities. As I said above, they treat this a a ministry of service, rather than just a job. My family was very blessed to have them assist us during the last few months of my mother's life on earth."

"I visited A Gabriela's Villa, and it was nice. The room was fine and like a home. The residents were watching television, and they said they had activities during the day. Their staff seemed very nice, and the house looked well kept."
