"I find Sunrise of Danville very clean, and the environment was very nice. I toured their assisted living. The one staff that we talked to was very friendly and informative. The environment was really good; I liked it. The staff was helpful with understanding and trying to help out with my sister's need for skilled care. She was trying to make some other suggestions to help us. The dining room was very nice. It seems more like family-oriented dining."

"They made every effort to accommodate us. It was very clean, very open, and more homey. It had a great outdoor area for sitting, indoor patios, and a nice lunch room. We worked with three different people who were great and knowledgeable about everything they provided. The dining room was open and like a larger restaurant with round tables, open seating, and wasn’t noisy, but people were having conversations, so it was nice to see. People came in who did entertainment, like singers and musicians. They had a bus that would take them on day trips and doctors within the area, and the mall is a block away."

"I selected Carefield Pleasanton Memory Care for my mother. I liked the look, it was just recently remodelled, and they're only about 50% capacity, because they re-opened right about the time covid-19 started. They've been very responsive, it seems like my mom is getting good care, but it's hard to know what's going on because I can't go inside. I can just visit her through the window, or talk on the phone. The staff is very responsive, we were able to resolve one issue when I talked to the director, and she also gave me her cell phone number so I can contact her any time and day of the week. That made me a little comfortable about the situation. She has been there about 3 weeks now, she thinks the food is great, the chef comes out and mingles with the residents, and she thinks that's pretty cool. I was able to go in and set her room up, I got a private room, it was well maintained, and it has new floors and a new restroom. The building was clean. It was the most affordable for the resources they offer."

"Creekview Statement - Pleasanton, CA Moving to Creekview Assisted Living was the best decision for me. I feel safe and comfortable here and started calling it “home” soon after moving in. I especially like the medication management where the staff handles refills, prescription changes, doctor instructions and timely dispensing. There are three good meals each day. Housekeeping services include personal laundry done weekly. The Creekview facility offers spacious community rooms, wide hallways, and rooms for many activities. And the people – both Residents and Staff – are caring and supportive. It is a very good home."

"It was one of the more reputable and one of the nicer facilities. The services were state-of-the-art, but the actual facility was a little bit old. The people were wonderful. They provide many activities for the residents."

"I toured Bellara Senior Living. It was nice, very fancy. An experience that you want for anyone senior and transitioning into their later years. They have on-call nurses, and they have everything that you need there, you don't have to go out and get it, very much assisted. Everything is there all at once. You don't have to go anywhere. The staff was nice. They were very welcoming. They just wanted to get to know me and my family and make sure that if we were choosing that place, it would be the right place for us. It's a very new building. They had a bar. They had a bunch of seating areas. They had fancy bathrooms. They had a workout area. They had a whole courtyard where you could sit and talk and grill food. They had a beautiful kitchen that was restaurant-style."

"I want to leave a review for the activities director named Obed N. He was very helpful when i was there. He took the time to show me around and even explained the activities to me in such a detailed way. I love to see that The Parkview has this person as an activity director which shows that they hire people who care and people who are correct for their role. after the talking that we did when i asked how long he had worked there it he had mentioned he was fairly new. which i was impressed ! The information he had given me about the place had made it seem like he had been there for years! Please give it up to him he did a really great job answering questions and simply being very welcoming and giving me such detailed answers. I feel good knowing that i have friends at the facility with a gentleman like Obed around."

"Sunol Creek Memory Care specializes in memory care, so their staff is trained to deal with people who have memory issues such as dementia or confusion. They know how to treat my friend. The staff talks to him and is nice to him. He has a private room, and we had to bring the furniture. He has a little TV that his family bought for him, as well as a bed, a small sofa, a chair, and a reading lamp. They have common areas where they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They encourage residents to come to the common eating area, but sometimes the residents prefer to have their meals served in their rooms. They have an area for arts and crafts activities, and in their reception area, they offer good chocolate chip cookies."

"Mom is doing good at Heart and Soul. She fit in really well with the residents there. They were more like her in what she was going through. The staff is very nice and understanding. They seem to take really good care of my mom. They have a quiet room where you can sit and talk. The place is clean, and all of the residents seem to be really happy. "

"I've referred many clients to Marymount, which offers assisted living with memory care. They also have hospice on site. The staff is well qualified, professional, welcoming, warm. They're well trained in hospitality--and those in memory care are well trained and have many years experience. They don't have much turnover at all--which is very good. It's located in San Leandro, in an upscale setting close to BASRT and AC Transit. It's also just 10 minutes from the Oakland Airport. The facility is state of the art: modern, upscale apartments that are new and well kept and with nice views of the Bay and garden areas. The social services department at Marymount provides activities 7 days a week. And their wellness program includes both PT and OT. It's also pet friendly, and the food is good--three meals and snacks (but not much choice). "

"My mom will move in. My mom felt very comfortable there. They have a fence in the backyard where she can let her dog out and a nice bath. The staff is excellent. The food was good. The dining area is warm and friendly, and they have a free transportation service, which is nice."

"Walnut Creek Care Home didn't have any openings, but the house was spotless. It was very, very clean. The staff there was great. There was no smell of urine or something like that. For me, this particular home just needed some remodeling. It was dated, but that doesn't detract from the fact that it was spotless and the people that were working there were wonderful. They had very caring and long-tenured staff members."

"My mother was a patient here for 4.5 years, until she passed away recently. I cannot express how thankful I am to have had the wonderful staff caring for her all that time. The caregivers are kind, loving, respectful, and always looking to make life a bit better for the residents. There is very little turnover of staff. Most of the caregivers have been there since my mother arrived. They truly feel like family, and I will miss them."

"What I liked most about it was the privacy that the residents have. I saw a studio and a shared room. The studios were the perfect size for my husband. It comes with a little kitchenette and a bathroom, which was nice. The rooms were very nice. They publish a price, and on top of that, it depends on the level of care that they need. They explained that as my husband progressed towards more mobility and independence, the price would go down. But initially, it's out of my price range. They were very informative. They had a beauty salon. The staff said the activities are cut back a little bit because of COVID. I also liked that they got the residents to come down to dine instead of having them isolated in their room. They bring them down to the dining room three times a day, so that was good."
