My mom transferred to this nursing facility after she was over medicated and hospitalized at another nursing facility in the area. Sacred Heart saved my mothers life. She was 85 pounds and in a few months, with their huge portions of food that is served and monitored by a Dietician, she had regained her normal weight. They literally got my mom back on her feet! Their Alzheimer's unit is second to none. In my opinion, they are the very best in the NB area. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is concerned about the care their loved ones may be receiving at another nursing facility.

All I worry about is bathing/cleanliness of their bodies. I have to check that my Mom gets bathed once a week....they often SKIP...gross. At $150,000 per year...I would like to not worry about this.

Visited family there many times and food served to patients is not very good and very skimpy. Need much improvement!!

My father is in Sacred Heart, and so far the care is excellent. He is receiving very good care. My brother is near to him, though, and I get a perspective from him also. It’s an older building, but it’s very clean and very well-maintained.
