My husband and I visited three adult day programs in our area. My husband liked this one best. We found it was quieter and less busy. This was easier for him to deal with and he did not feel so overwhelmed or confused by his alzheimer's disease there. I appreciated the longer hours available, from 8am to 5pm, if I needed them. There is also a support group that meets in the same building on two different days that I have found helpful. Finally the staff has been very good at helping my husband to adjust to the program and working with me to get him to attend. I appreciate their flexibility in allowing us to adapt the program to fit our family.
