We visited friends at Seventy-Five State Street, and their apartment was very nice. They looked like they were well taken care of, and they really enjoyed their apartment. It was spacious, and they had two bedrooms, a dining area, and a living room. They also participated in the meal plan, and actually we shared a meal with them. We had Sunday dinner with them, and it was surprisingly good. The staff in the dining room was very good, friendly, helpful, and courteous. It looked well maintained, and I thought it was reasonable.

We toured 75 State Street. They had smaller rooms. However, they were very friendly. They have lots of bus trips. We just spent an hour there, but the staff members were very informative. With regards to the community, there are more older people than we wanted. And we were looking for a little bit younger crowd. They had lots to do like painting class, games, trips to the swimming pool, flower arranging, and stuff like that.

I went to 75 State Street. I like the dining arrangements. The size of the room was a bit small. But generally speaking, it was a nice, clean, and pleasant place. The staff was pleasant, and polite and answered my questions. The facility is generally good. I feel reasonably comfortable there.

We toured 75 State Street. The grounds are old. They have several old buildings that are connected with hallways and attachments. The buildings are old themselves. The interior is OK. It's not outstanding or anything. The rooms that we looked at were very small and very expensive. For example, for me and my wife, if we were to go there, I would be the one that would be renting, but I have to pay extra for my wife. It's in the middle of a city. It's close to the ocean, but the area is not so nice. When we were driving there, we saw several cars that were damaged with broken windshields. It's also in the middle of a college and overgrown area. It's relatively not too safe, I don't think. They have a parking lot. You have to give them keys to your cars, so if it snows, they can move the cars. That doesn't sit well with me giving someone else my keys to my car. The elevators were very small. We would have had an extremely difficult time just moving our stuff up into the room. The staff member who toured us was a very nice person. However, I didn't see any activities posted or see anyone in any activities. They're way too expensive for what they're offering.

I liked 75 State Street very much. Lauren showed me around, and she was excellent. I didn't get a chance to see the rooms, but it was a lovely facility in a nice location. We just visited the different areas and the dining room and they were all nice. They included the meals with the prices, which was good. I liked that I don't have to move if I need more help down the line.

We liked 75 State Street very much. What we especially liked about it is if you have issues with being able to afford it after some time, they can assist you find financial assistance so that you can stay there, which is a big deal. All of their offerings match what we would need. The staff or the person who gave us the tour was lovely. She answered all the questions we came up with and gave us a nice tour of the facility. She was very accommodating and very kind to us. The one apartment we saw would be too small for us because we're still active enough that I would want a little more space than they had. But the other rooms were lovely. They were renovating some of the rooms and they were putting solar panels on their roof. They're doing a lot of updating to make it even more pleasant and more comfortable for everyone. We saw a menu, and it was very lovely. They had a lot of choices. They were also renovating the dining area. They're updating it and getting new furniture. They had an outdoor area with raised beds, which I would be interested in.

75 State Street is an older community. They have done well with what they've got, but it was very choppy, just very difficult to learn your way around and the population seemed to be much older and less active. The room had a small kitchenette. They had a very small outdoor area. The staff seemed very nice.

75 State Street is a great place, but not for my mother. It's very busy and very energetic, and my mother is very sedate, quiet, and needs a lot of assistance. We just didn't feel that it was right for her. The rooms felt basically the same with the same square footage. Everything looked fine, and the staff who gave the tour was also fine. They kept their seniors busy, but their seniors were much more lively than my mother. We didn't try any food, but the dining room looked fine and smelled wonderful. It seemed to be very well-run. It was well-maintained, and everybody seemed happy there.

I was impressed with the thoroughness and the openness of the people that I worked with at Seventy-Five State Street, particularly the director of admissions, but they don't have a lot of vacancies. I saw three units and they were all one-bedrooms and I liked them. I was very much impressed with what they had. They offer three meals and access to various institutions. You're not far from the art museum, St. Luke's Cathedral, a lot of things that go on downtown, the Portland Stage, and the historical society. I also liked the lovely gardens they had, particularly the environment created by the Rose Garden downstairs. I also appreciated the attention I got while I was there.

We chose Seventy-Five State Street for my mother. The staff was very accommodating, and we all liked the accommodations, as well as the staff to resident ratio. They have efficiency rooms with private baths, and suites (which are private rooms with very small bedrooms and a private bath). The residents seemed very interactive, pleasant, and clean.

The staff from Seventy Five State Street was fine, but the place was not really to our liking. It was a little dark, old, and not very up to date, so we decided we wouldn’t be interested in it at all. The apartments were a pretty good size but not lit up. We had lunch in the dining room, and the food was fine. There weren't any activities going on at the time.

We were very, very impressed when we first went to Seventy-Five State Street. Extremely friendly and well-organized, very informative. We were just really appreciative with the concerns that they took, even to the point when we were moving in right down to the maintenance staff, helping us with everything we needed. After we had left, there were people who came and visited with my father to be sure he wasn't lonely or confused. They were all sitting in new wheelchairs and they had this big ball and they were passing it back and forth. They have movies and they have Wi-Fi bowling, lots of activities for elderly. We, as a family, have been very impressed with what they have done so far.

I can't tell you a lot about Seventy Five State Street. I can just tell you that it was a nice place and it was the place that my parents felt they would be comfortable living in. It was really a very nice place. I liked it a lot.

They were very affordable, and I liked that they were right in Portland near the hospital. I chose not to go with them because they could not provide the care my mother was looking for. It was an older building, and it did not seem as cheerful as some of the more modern facilities.
