My father is very happy in Horizons Living And Rehab Center. It's a memory care place, and it's working out great, luckily. All the workers have great attitudes and are very caring and attentive. They're very clean and modern. The food has been excellent. They've got two activities per day, pretty much, music, bingo, and all types of little shows. They're good about taking them out of the rooms and bringing them down in little group rooms to watch TV together and socialize. There are quite a few that actually go to all the events, and they hold their interests pretty well. I don't think any place could ever justify the cost because they are so expensive, but they do a very good job. We looked at six different places, and they were probably middle of the road money-wise, but what they provide in the facility and everything is better than anything else we had seen, so the value was very good compared to the other five places.
