My wife moved into Bay Square at Yarmouth. We liked the appearance of the place. We liked the proximity to my home because I go visit her every day, where I'm actually on my way right now, and we knew people who had relatives in Bay Square who recommended it. When we talked to the people, the coverage, and so forth, we felt that it was likely to be a very good fit for her. Their staff is very pleasant, very attentive, and very helpful. That's the main thing, that they're very competent, helpful, and friendly, and it's pleasant to be in that place. The food is excellent. My wife goes down to exercise most days. It costs a great deal. Very expensive, but it's very good value.

I toured Bay Square at Yarmouth. It's a refurbished inn or hotel that had been sort of upcycled into a community. Some of the rooms were shared rather than single. So, it just puts the priority particularly in terms of privacy down a notch. The staff was friendly. They seemed knowledgeable in dealing with people with dementia. I did not see an exercise room. They had a centralized area for socializing and crafts, and things like that.

We toured Bay Square at Yarmouth. The tour was excellent. The people were very friendly. The people that we met that lived there like that very much. We liked the woman who gave us the tour very much. It's a lovely facility and smaller, which appealed to my friend. They have memory care, but it's only private pay. Otherwise, I think that would have been our first choice. They have a library, recreation room, beauty parlor, barber shop, a separate family dining room (like if you have your family visit, which right now they can't do). It is close to a river that has a nice park next to it, so it'd be a good place for walking. They could modify the dining. I think my friend could have gotten gluten free there. The dining room is homey and comfortable.

I checked out the memory care area at Bay Square at Yarmouth, and I thought it desperately needed to be updated. It was like something out of the 1970s. The colors were just so old and outdated, but I know it's not a very old facility because I remember when it was built in the 90s. So, I would not recommend that, and the room that they would have provided my husband was so small that you could just get a twin size bed in, a chair, and maybe a very small bureau. It was just awful. They had a kitchenette in the room, which he didn't need at all because he shouldn't cook on his own, so there was no need for that, but the bathroom was OK. The staff was pleasant as we passed, and they said hello, but there was no more interaction than that with the staff except for the person who was showing me around, who was also very pleasant. They have an activity room and that's all I know they have.

I have always found the Baysquare staff to be very courteous, professional and attentive. As much as is possible, they make Baysquare feel like a home for its residents. Plenty of activities and social events on the schedule, food is excellent and the day-to-day care is always attentive and personal. Special kudos to the nursing staff. They are excellent and attuned to each resident in a very personal way. I appreciate the care they provide my mother, who has been a Baysquare resident in their Memory Care since March.

My father is safe and overall I'm OK with Bay Square at Yarmouth. His room looks like a regular room. There's a bathroom and the living area. The staff is friendly, but the services aren't what I expected. The dining area is set up restaurant style. There are tables and chairs in there. They go on rides, and they do games. He gets three meals a day. Overall, it's OK, but it's not what I expected for the price that you pay. They seem to enjoy what they're eating and they get their biggest meal during the day. I would give the maintenance a one. I'm still working on a refrigerator, which needs to be lifted, and I still haven't gotten that done.

My mother-in-law just moved into Bay Square, and we're pleased. The staff is very good, we're pleased with them so far. The room she's in is small, but very nice and clean. They're very good about trying to get her into the activities. The grounds are very attractive.

Bay Square was excellent. They were a newer establishment, so they're very clean. The staff were friendly and excellently trained in memory care. They showed me things that they do, how they have folders on each patient and they put their heads together to help anybody that's having a problem. There's enough help around to cater to each individual. They have individual care givers to watch those people who tend to wander like my mom. They have things for the residents to do and there's a big yard so people can go outside. The rooms for the memory care unit were also nice and clean, small but efficient, and they have bathtubs. It was an easy size for the memory care people.

My visit at Bay Square at Yarmouth was very good. The place and people were very nice. I saw that it was a comfortable place to live. They had a one-room efficiency as well as a companion room. I had a meal there, and the food was good. The dining room and facilities were very nice. They take care of their residents, and if someone does not show up for a meal, they go check. You don’t to eat the meals if you don’t want to, but they serve three meals a day in a restaurant setting.

The person who showed me around Bay Square at Yarmouth was the new employee and not as comfortable in his job. The community was beautiful, but they didn’t have exactly what I was looking for, so it wasn’t a good fit for my husband. I only went to the memory care unit, which was lovely and beautiful, but my husband is kind of in between assisted living and memory care. It wasn’t appropriate for what he needs right now. It’s very nice, very comfortable, and well kept, but it wasn’t what we needed right now.

We were impressed with Baysquare at Yarmouth. We liked that it was friendly, clean, and had lots of activity rooms and areas. The apartments looked like a good size and modern. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The dining area looked nice and restaurant-style. They had a couple of big common areas.

Bay Square at Yarmouth was really nice, but it was too expensive for us. For the level of care in the memory care unit, it was more than we could pay. The dining area was like a restaurant and very elegant, lovely, and very comfortable.

My mom stayed at Bay Square. It was bit expensive. It was fine. We had no complaints. The facility was a little older. The room that my mother was in was nice, but it was smaller. They were good people. They did a nice job. They took good care of mom. They had trips. They had activities right there. They had really nice stuff. The best thing was that it was only 10 minutes from my sister's home. For her it was very convenient.

Bay Square is a beautiful place. The people are very friendly, helpful, and it feels like a home. My parents have been there since August. The rooms are very nice and roomy. They actually have a two-bedroom, two-bath rooms with a nice kitchenette. The residents have lots of activities, including in-house things that my parents love to do, and they’re bringing people in for music and arts. They also have a van that they take out for excursions.

We loved everything about Bay Square. We love the staff, the set-up, and the therapies that were offered. My brother in law has a nice private room, and he’s happy there.

Bay Square at Yarmouth was a very, very clean facility. It was small, very attentive to details and to the patients' needs. We liked it, but the cost was just more than what we can do as a family. It was not a fine facility for an independent person. People there needed care, so if you were an alert, independent, and vibrant senior, you would not go there. It was a good option for the next level for those who are not quite ready for a nursing home but are needing help with medication, bathing or dressing, and maybe with a little bit of memory issue but not wandering. I would recommend it very much. Just watching the staff interacting with the residents, it was exactly what I would have wanted for my parents had we been able to afford it, and they loved it. They absolutely loved it.

I visited Bay Square at Yarmouth when I was looking for a place for my mother. It was very clean. The tour person took me around explaining everything very clearly. We got to visit one of the apartments. It was a very good experience and it's a very nice place; I was impressed. There was staff on duty all the time, willing to assist in anything they needed to do. I'd recommend them to others.

The staff at Bay Square at Yarmouth are very professional and they appeared to be very efficient by being aware of what the people needed. They have people assigned to tour the visitors around the place. They have so many services. The place looked clean and everybody looked clean. I was very impressed. They have so many activities which makes the residents to socialize to each other. They offer games, movies, and trips. They have buses that take the residents to the mall or to places. They celebrate birthdays. They have shopping days. The place is beautiful. This place is really high end. If anybody needed anything this facility is the place to go.

We chose Bay Square because they offered the best care for my mother. Everything seems to be very good. The food isn't as good as a restaurant, but it's healthy and they don't hold back on quantity. She socializes by going to meals, but isn't very mobile, so can't go on their excursions. I feel comfortable with her there.
