Redbrook at The Glen was very nice and we liked it. But some of the meal plans were just too fancy for my brother-in-law, and they only change the menu once every 6 months or so. There were different areas where people eat for lunch and supper. The independent living part was all in one big building. What we liked about it was that it was not as big and sprawling as the other ones. Everything was in one building. The facility was very, very nice. There were a lot of areas that had little fireplaces where you could just sit, read, and be very comfortable. In the apartment, the kitchen and the living room were all kind of one big room. There was just a little counter island that separated the kitchen from the living room. It had an extra bedroom, like a small room that could be used for an office. There was also a stackable washer and dryer in the small utility room. Tammy was the person that showed us around, and she was just as nice as she could be. She was very willing to listen to our concerns.
