Through my time visiting the residents of Horizon Village, Pathways Inc. I have had the chance to get a perspective about the quality of the facilities and the staff working there. Pathways Inc., the company that owns Horizon Village is a company that is indeed dedicated for the care and quality of life of the residents that are living in its facilities. They are constantly planning different programs for the residents there whether it be a party for a holiday or last year's Horizon Village Prom. The staff I have met at Horizon Village are caring people who are always tending to the wants and needs of the residents in their care without a sigh. The facilities that the residents live in are suitable but could definitely be improved. There are two different types of living facilities for the residents. There are individual apartments for those residents who are able to live on their own and there is a group home for those residents requiring extra assisted care. I believe that the group home can definitely be improved. A lot of the beds and equipment are getting old and should be replaced.
