My Dad was a participant here for a year and it was a great experience. Located in the west side of town, the facility is close to freeway access and provides transportation for those that are eligible. It is not the most alluring of facilities and the grounds are not much to speak of, but the social activity and caring staff make this program a little gem. It is based on a sliding fee structure and for families that really need this service for their loved ones, it is a life-saver. Meals are served on site for both breakfast, lunch and snacks. Participants are divided into either "Active Seniors" who enjoy a wide array of activities, outings and socialization or "Living Room Group" who require a slower pace and more individualized care. Biggest down side is the admission process which is long and labored and often requires a wait list.
