The Meadows

My father has moved into The Meadows. The apartments are wonderful, spacious, and updated. It's a very clean facility with a nice dining room. They have good staff. The food is great, and my father loves it. His reaction to the food is really good. My father hasn't participated in activities very much, but just by reading the list, it looks like it's good. They have a wide variety of activities. It's also a very good value because I looked at other places in the area, and they're a better value than the other places. Another reason why we went to The Meadows is because that was the town my father was living in, so it was better just to keep him in his town rather than venture to another town where he would have to change doctors and all that.

In my encounters with the staff at the Meadows, I have been extremely impressed with the care and compassion they give their residents. They often go above and beyond to provide a homelike environment for residents. My grandmother has been extremely happy since moving to the Meadows. She is well cared for and enjoys the various activities they provide for their residents. They offer a weekly bingo game. Someone comes in to the facility to provide beautician services such as fixing hair and painting nails. They take residents on shopping trips. They also will take residents to various places if the need should arise. She claims she has no time to be bored! :) She also has given rave reviews about the meals. They provide a great deal of variety to meet everyone's dietary and meal preferences. The Meadows also does a great job including family. They are hosting an upcoming BBQ for residents and their families.
