I went to look at Summit Pointe. They had an exercise place and underground parking. The rooms were very nice. It was nice that you had a choice of whether it was a small apartment or a larger apartment. The cost here is higher, but it's quite an exquisite place. It's very nice. They don't have a dishwasher, but they have a stove and a refrigerator. I really liked it there. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Their food was absolutely good. The facility was beautiful. It was well-kept. The inside and outside were just immaculate. They have a beautiful outdoor space, and there are chairs. There's even a place for a fire pit. If you want a garden, you can do that. Pets are welcome.

Visited this place with my friend...1st Impression: clean and beautiful. Great staffs, they were all friendly and attentive. A lot of activities to keep the residents busy. Free transportation to doctor appointments 5 days a week. Even trips to grocery shopping once a week.

What I like the most about Summit Pointe Senior Living Community is the staff. They are just having fun and are really into their job. A couple of the gals did a dance routine in the cafeteria, and they just have a really good time, are happy, and really care about the people that live here. I'm in the independent living, so I'm asked to come to all this stuff. There are things I choose to go to and things I don't, but they always bring the people from the memory care area out to all the live music that we have every Friday,. Sometimes the guys all get together at the clubhouse on the third floor while the ladies are doing adult coloring at 10:00 on Saturdays. It is a really, really nice place to live. They also have exercise bikes here and places for private dining. They decorated the whole place for Christmas, and they even took us out to look at the lights in the city. They have a van that they use to take people to doctors' offices or take us out to eat or go shopping. They serve wonderful food that's all homemade stuff. They make bread every week and you can eat in your room. At the front, there is an outdoor area that is completely covered and where we have a band sometimes. In the back, we have gardens and I've got a lot of plants that I volunteered to take care of in my apartment. I was able to get a cat, too, as they allow pets. You can have a small dog or cat here.

My mother is in Summit Pointe memory care unit. Her accommodation is great and all the nurses are very attentive. It's all-inclusive, full service for dementia/Alzheimer's people who need extra help with showers, medications, and meals. The staff is great. They can order off of a specialty menu if they don't want what's served.

I am thrilled w Summit Pointe and more importantly my Mom is so very happy here. She of course was very resistant to leave her home and raves about it. The food is so good that her friends want to eat there instead of going to a restaurant. The staff is friendly and caring and not intrusive. I believe the building is only 7 years old. It is clean, modern and well kept. I so appreciate the thoughtful design of the rooms, especially the bathrooms. If you live out of town, Summit Pointe can refer you to a company that is primo in working w the elderly and getting them moved.

My father is in Summit Point Senior, and I like the place. It is very nice except that I don't like everything that they offer has an extra price. We'd like them to be more transparent about what the costs are. Other than that, I am very happy with the place. I have eaten there, and food is pretty bland, but I like spicy stuff and they are set to suit an older population. So, I don't think he has any complaint about the food. They have a lot of activities; he may not be participating in all of them, but he is interested in some of them, and I think they do a good job with that. His apartment is very nice. The staff is excellent.

The outside areas of Summit Pointe Senior Living Community were beautiful, with flowers and trees. Some of the residents, in fact, like to grow some vegetables in the summertime, like tomatoes and peppers, which was kind of cool. I didn't spend a whole lot of time looking around. We talked and looked at some things, but it wasn't enough to impress me. They do have different ministers, different denominations of religion that come in and do the service, offer communion, and all kinds of stuff that they want, so that was very nice.
