Upon walking in the front door, I came face to face with a majority of the residents gathered around the television. They were watching a soap opera with some of the staff members. A CNA was playing the piano with a few residents in the corner of the same room. I was then given a tour of the individual rooms, each containing 2 beds. The rooms were clean and organized, albeit small. Many of the rooms were currently being attended by CNAs or RNs. There was an ice pass going on while I was given the tour. Overall, the place seems happy and active. The residents are not simply left in their rooms all day long. They have group activities, exercises and entertainment. The staff is very helpful and involved. There didn't appear to be any signs of neglect or abuse. Bedridden patients were still paid attention to and turned regularly.
