My mom transferred to Springhill after being in another much new facility....with extremely poor care. The staff at Springhill have been exceptional, we met the Facility Director the day we were admitted, and the rest of the managerial staff the next day. The therapy has been superb and the nursing care is as good or better than we received in the hospital. If you are looking for a great place for someone you love, consider Springhill Village, you won't be sorry

Never would recommend! Owners, shareholders, top management only care about profit not the people for my wife was not treated kindly, but drugged up to suppress her needs and she had 4 UTI's in 3 months there, lost her clothes, wheelchair, messed up her PT, OT, and Speech Therapy, there was some nurses that were good to my wife and they as CNA's and other Aids, that were ready to quit from total exhaustion and lack of their efforts in appreciation and then I tried there after 6 other facilities that are top rated in Terre haute than SPRINGHILL Village, where I needed at last effort for I needed a hip replacement and they DENIED my wife! My wife is at a much better facility that understands her needs, has more compassion, she has had no UTI's, is cleaner, and they keep her busy everyday, where SPRINGHILL Village just doped her up and left her in a hallway until she fell multiple times! Never ever would recommend this place for anyone's loved one and the very top to the top management team there I would never send my wife there ever again!!! Not even one star for this facility just only the people that work there and try, but are not appreciated for their own efforts! Pathetic!

Springhill Village was just right down the street from my house. I was there for two to three months, and I didn't like it. They were mean and disrespectful. I had a plain old room, and the food was terrible. I don't really know about the activities because they never let me now about it. I ended up staying in my room most of the time. They need to improve on everything.

My mom was in Springhill Village. The rooms were very nice, and the people were very pleasant. They had a very nice cafeteria with tablecloths, and they kept to the diets very much. The common room, where visitors meet, was extraordinary, and they had beautiful draperies. The only issue I had with them was when Mom was hospitalized, they did not catch my mom’s infection near her belly, we saw this when we lifted her. They treated her for it only after we brought it to their attention. As far as in-home care, I wouldn’t recommend them to others.

My family and I occasionally visit Springhill Village to minister to those that stay there on behalf of our church. We have been to many different nursing homes over the years, and have a wide variety of experiences. Some have left us quite depressed to leave people we cared for in those places. Springhill certainly does not leave you with that feeling.Walking into the facility is not much different from walking into a nice hotel. The decor is very comfortable and tasteful. You can tell that much care and thought was put into the design and layout. Of course these things are nothing if you do not have the staff to complement a great facility. This is where Springhill excels. The staff has a real sense of purpose and kindness. You can tell there is a team effort going on to take care of the people in their care. The bottom line is that I would not hesitate to put my own family in a place like Springhill Village.

The only good thing that has come about from my relatives time in this place was the physical therapy. Other than that, I would NEVER recommend this place for anyone. The follow up care is extremely poor. The personal hygeine these patients have to endure is pathetic. The way the nurses distribute medicines leaves alot to be desired, they don't even make sure the patient swallows the meds., the just hand them the cup of meds and the water and allows the patient to go back to their room or the dining room-very dangerous! As for follow up care, they'll tell you anything to get your relative out of there. Don't believe them. Make sure ALL arrangements are made BEFORE leaving the facility. I will never take my relative there again and I will definately not recommend this place to anyone.
