My mom lives in Bishop Goedert Residence in Hines. As far as I know, it's a nice place. It's an independent living community and I was trying to get in there myself. It was very clean and the people in the office were very friendly. It's an excellent place and I like the area. Whenever I visit, I would usually take my mom shopping but they also have a bus that takes the residents shopping or to get groceries. It's been about 2 years since my last visit but my mom still lives there. For activities, I know they have bingo but my mom kind of stays to herself. She told me that they go on outings too and do certain dinners for special occasions, like Christmas and New Year's, Thanksgiving, and stuff like that. They have dinners for the residents there on those occasions. I think she's getting her money's worth there.
