Cedarhurst of Highland was where my mom was going to go because they have a memory unit there, and an assisted living. You'd have to walk through the assisted living to get to the memory care. It was really nice and clean. It looked like they had a lot of activities. When I was touring it, everything looked nice, but the real kicker was they didn't have skilled nursing for that memory care. They had one person and that's kind of frustrating because they didn't really tell me that. I had to come to my own conclusion and say there's nobody there that can help my mom. You had to supply your own bed in the memory unit. I had to find and rent up a hospital bed and anything else that she needed, and I was not happy about that. The staff during the tour was very nice and very helpful. They had church services on Sunday and different events for different holidays that came up. They had an activity room, a dining hall, a creative section, and they had a long hallway that circles, so they could walk that circle, and they had chairs to sit down. They had a courtyard, too, that was surrounded by the building, so that people could go out and sit in there.
