I'm living in Drexel Square in Chicago. I have the skyline view because I'm up on the 7th floor. I love the patio area and the amenities here. I'm in a 1-bedroom apartment, people are very nice, and it's quiet. The apartment has appliances like a refrigerator, stove, and oven. Just the basics, that's all that I need. There is no problem with the staff, and the security is fine, but the management is poor. The women here were just talking about having activities. We are trying to plan our own event because there is nothing being planned on a regular basis. We have a beautiful patio on the 9th-floor penthouse area. It's beautiful, but the coordinator has not provided opportunities or things to do. The ladies and I were just speaking about this yesterday to get together. Even if it's just 6 or 12 people, it would be great to just mingle and get together. It's very comfortable for me, but there needs to be things done, as far as the entrance and the appearance of the place. I didn't know this until I got here, but I also love my apartment, so I had nothing to do outdoors. It can be better. It's a beautiful building in the University of Chicago area. It's near the hospital, and convenience stores, and I love Hyde Park, so the location is wonderful.
