I was in Warner Robins Rehabilitation Center. It was very good. The staff was very, very nice. They treated me very well. I also had a roommate that they treated very well, too. I didn't see them go slack on anything. The food was very good. We watched a little bit of TV in between rehab. We went two, sometimes three times a day, to do the actual exercises, so we didn't do any activities at all. The size of the room was sufficient, and it was very clean.

My father was at Warner Robins Rehabilitation Center. He had heart problems and went to the hospital and they sent him there from the hospital. And I didn't know at that time, and nobody made it clear to me, that I didn't have to keep him there, and I thought he had to stay there. So when I finally figured out that he didn't have to stay there, I got him out of there because it was not a nice place. The administrative staff seemed to be OK, but I didn't have really good experiences with nurses. I went to visit my father at one time, and he was dirty. I told them, "You need to clean him up because his diaper hadn't been changed in a while and everything." I said, "You need to do something pretty quickly," and they didn't come. So about 45 minutes later, he urinated all over the floor and all over his wheelchair. So I went back to the nurse's station and I said, "Now you've got a bigger mess to clean up because you got to wash the wheelchair and you got to wash the floor." They should have listened to me. It was not a pleasant place at all. There were a lot of activities always going on, so I'd say the activities were fairly decent. It was pretty expensive. The place wasn't as clean as I would have liked it. When you first walked in, the smell was overpowering, so I felt like it could be cleaner. They didn't keep my father very clean. I sometimes heard them talking very mean to him. Like when my father would call me on the phone, I could hear them in the background, and it wasn't pleasant.

I have a friend who is a resident here. She is paralyzed and totally reliant on others to care for her. They don't give her her medication on time, and take half an hour to respond to her calls to the nurses station. She also has a roommate who intercepts the attendants when they do come claiming that it was she who called them. This puts her life in danger.

When I had my stroke, I transferred from the hospital to Warner Robins Rehab where they have two people per room. They had very good food, and I liked their physical therapy. They came and got me twice a day to come down and get you something to walk with and all that. They had a minister come in once a week and had church in the cafeteria, bingo, and more.
