My friend moved into Serenity Assisted Living. That's the only place I looked at and we were very satisfied by it. It was in the area that he wanted to be, which was another reason why picked that one. He's in regular assisted living. He pretty much can take care of himself, but he just needs somebody to supervise him. The place is nice and clean. They have private rooms and bathrooms, and they're good-sized. The staff are really good. My friend likes the food. The menu was posted for the week. He's enjoying the food. He has a nice room that is bigger than the one he had in his own home. It has a private bath with a walk-in shower. They provide cable TV and a landline. When we walked in, it smelled good. A lot of times when you have that type of people that have to have some assistance like a nursing home, it doesn't always smell good. But at Serenity, it smelled good. They were cooking in the kitchen, and it was really homey.
