My daughter-in-law was able to meet me at Hope Center Memory Care, and we talked with the director of sales. We really liked this place. I liked the fact that they were strictly memory care, first off. Number two, they had four different levels, and they were kept separate for the most part, depending on the level of care that the person would need. There was a lockdown, but there were places to go outside, an enclosed courtyard, so that they would be safe, but they could go out and be in the sunshine and see the flowers and listen to the birds and those kinds of things. It had a good feel to it. It looked like there would be plenty of activities and physical therapy or whatever the people needed. They had a salon and a hairdresser would come in, but if I felt like it, I could reserve a spot and go in and use their facility to cut my husband's hair. You wouldn't have to use an outside person to do it. I could do it myself if that's what I chose to do. I thought that was a novel thing that they offered. He could have a private room. He could perhaps share a room or share the bathroom type of thing. It looked neat and fresh and had lots of sunlight. That was one of the things that impressed me. There were lots of windows and lots of sunshine that came in to brighten up the facility. It was very pleasant. They had a separate dining room, so you could have a family celebration of just your family if you wanted to. It is not a new facility, and it's probably time to freshen up some of the furniture and things, but it did not look shabby. I would not feel bad giving them a five. Everybody seemed quiet and happy. The staff who gave the tour was very nice.

This is a terrible place. Some of the employees are very unkind and impudent. They deny patient and visitor requests with no reason given. The food is poor - cold scrambled eggs every morning. My friend once was ill and requested her breakfast be brought to her room. She asked 3 employees without result. Then the medicine nurse brought her medicine and my friend said she couldn't take meds on an empty stomach. So the med nurse said she "refused" her medicine. She asked to go outside one morning to walk around in the "garden". The door was locked and the employee refused to unlock the door. The landscaping is not cared for. The plants are dead and dried up. The dead tree outside my friends room has not been taken down. There are weeds and signs of neglect everywhere. This is not a memory center. It's a third rate nursing home. They seem to have too many employees who sit around watching TV. No sign of professional standards with some employees being openly hostile.

My father will be moving here. They have several different levels of care there. He's at the lowest level right now, but he can move up as he gets better. It's a good community. The residents were all in there together, talking and reading. My dad needs conversation. He doesn't like to be alone, so that was a big thing, too. They don't have the same amenities as the other places, but they have physical therapy there. They had a courtyard and it was nice.

I like that it is close to me and that they can accommodate both of my parents in the memory care. The staff was wonderful. They were very accommodating, very professional, and upfront. The rooms were very nice and sufficient. The dining area was also nice. They had a nice area where my mother could go out and sit and be out in the nice weather alone. They have a space to be together and chat with people occasionally when they want to. We walked past an area where they were having activities with the seniors as well. It's just my folks are not there yet. So, I am rating them, for now, a 3.

This was the first time I had visited mom after her move. She was much improved. Talking more, sitting up straight in her wheel chair & that means she is stronger. She told me she happier at memory care than she was Assisted Living.

My mom has been better taken care of than she has at another facility for 2 years. She is feeling better than she has been in several years. We are very thankful, we hesitated to move her but it is the best thing we could have done.

Residents receive wonderful care and the staff truly treats them like family. The residents are well cared for and enjoy many activities, including spending time outside weather permitting. The meals look appetizing and Mom looks forward to mealtimes. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my mother’s care. They are truly exceptional!

I visited here and it was great. I liked the staff, but I wasn't able to observe the residents where they live because of COVID. So I wasn't able to see everything that I would like to see, but it wasn't their fault.

It is a really nice place. The layout is perfect for seniors who need memory care because they are able to be grouped with others at the same stage of dementia or Alzheimer's. We have been really pleased. The staff has been awesome. They pay attention. They call us with any concerns, and they keep us up-to-date, which has been a really big relief. Since we haven't been able to go inside, we only have interactions through phone calls and private meetings. We haven't been able to go in for any meals, etc. It was during the lockdown that my mom went in there, but we were able to take her inside the day we moved her in.
