The rooms are large and fully equipped with everything within reach. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Jackie W. always went above and beyond to help me with my needs. The PT staff and the OT. Staff worked with me almost every day. I got much better with my mobility.

My good friend was here for 2 months. Place is real nice and new. But good luck finding anyone. Everybody is busy and barely has time for people. Their pharmacy they use never has what they need. Sounds like an ongoing problem. Always new faces, not a good sign. Barely any towels or cups around, the place looks like they make a Lotta money tho. People have asked me for help with no one around. Also you could get locked in for awhile before you can find someone. They should leave the place open for folks to come in and help cos they need it. Shame on the people running the place.

My mom has been here for 7 weeks . TMHRC was full so we ended up at Pruitt Southwood, quit a distance from her home. Facility is beautiful. Staff seem capable & some are very sweet. However they are sorely understaffed as for Nurses and CNAs. Medicines were scheduled from day 1 and that schedule has not changed. During the day it ran 20-30 minutes late. Evenings & nights constantly ran 90 minutes late. The call button does not have audio to check seriousness of need & response ran 30 to 40 minutes always. Weekends are worse. It’s like being in a ghost town. Can’t get return calls about lack of timeliness of meds & constant schedule changes period. Tallahassee is not prepared for the geriatric population now & it will probably get worse as time goes on.

PruittHealth - SouthWood was a beautiful facility. There were a lot of things they didn't have available due to COVID, but they're trying to get started from that. Other than that, it was a lovely place. They seemed a little short-staffed. I only had just communications with their representative that takes in clients and he was very helpful. It had everything there. They had a salon for women, a spa area, and a very beautiful garden area. They had a gym, a courtyard, a chapel, and a movie room where they show movies. They had pretty much everything you would need.
