Haines City Multipurpose Senior Center

When we moved to Haines City, my friend said that she used to take her husband to the Haines City Multipurpose Senior Center, so I started to take my husband there myself. It was great although they had a lot more people. I watched them one day, and they were doing exercises while some people just slept in a chair. It was OK. I know Tanya is good and friendly with the people. She is over where my husband is now. She is very friendly and very nice. If I asked something or had a problem with something, she was always there to help me. She has a nice personality ,and it is easy to talk to her, and she would put my mind at ease when I said I feel bad dropping him off like this, and she said, “He’ll be fine.” And then afterwards, I found out that there was a bus that he can take, which he went with the bus, and there was no problem with that. We watched them getting on and off the bus.

MY HUSBAND HAS BEEN GOING TO THIS FACILITY FOR MONTHS NOW DUE TO HIS ALZHEIMERS AND HE COULDNT BE HAPPIER. THEY ARE WONDERFUL WITH HIM. EVERYMORNING I DROP HIM OFF AND THEY GREET HIM BY NAME AND THAT ALWAYS MAKE ME SMILE WHEN I LEAVE KNOWING THAT HE WILL BE WELL TAKEN CARE OF DURING HIS DAILY STAY.FROM THE FIRST VISIT THEY HAVE TREATED US WITH NOTHING BUT KINDNESS.WHEN I CALL TO SPEAK TO TONYA SHE ALWAYS HELPS ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS AND SHE WILL CALL ME BACK IF SHE IS BUSY OR NOT THERE. EVERY MORNING MY HUSBAND GETS UP AND DRESSED BEFORE ME BECAUSE HE LOVES GOING HERE TO VISIT WITH HIS FRIENDS. THIS GIVES ME PEACE OF MIND EVERYDAY WHILE IM AT WORK.. I DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT HIM BECAUSE I KNOW HE IS IN GREAT HANDS WITH EVERYONE THERE.

frustrated in Haines City

I have been to the Haines City Center on two separate occasions requesting information. The first time, my name and number was taken and I was told Tonya, would call me back. That she was the only one who could answer my questions. To date I have not received a call back. On my second visit, when I told the nurse I had not received a call back she gave me a phone number to call Tonya. I called the phone number the same day and it was out of service. How can you rate a service when you receive no service?
