"My aunt is a resident at Monarch Landing and she was very happy there. The staff was very nice to her. I saw their dining room and it was always quite impressive. They place has a computer room, a gymnasium, a swimming pool so it was quite extensive. "

"I am currently here. It's a wonderful and very well-established place. They have an indoor pool, exercise room, and a lot of activities over the course of the day. They have outside speakers that visit. The food is delicious. The people are friendly. Overall, the community is very high-quality in my opinion."

"Hearthwood Senior Living had a full range of services, from you know, three days a week meals if you wanted them, complete apartments of various sizes, and reasonable monthly rents or fees, and no entrance fee. That was a big deal. As many places do, they had craft rooms, a library, and a swimming pool. The staff was wonderful, and the people were active, very friendly, and welcoming. It's very clean, and they have a new owner, so they're undergoing a remodeling with new carpeting and new woodwork, and so forth. We toured for independent living, but it's a continuous care community, so there is a wing for rehab or for more assisted living if you need it."

"I went to see Addolorata Villa. They have a 2-bedroom and 2-bath. I looked at assisted living. It’s not new and it is showing more wear and tear because it is older. The people are very nice. They don’t have many amenities, but they are not expensive. They have medical people who come in the place so the residents don’t have to go out. It’s also Catholic and my parents are Catholic and they like that it has a chapel. That is another plus for us. "

"The Holmstad was excellent and great. The people were wonderful and informative. It was all good, but it’s not going to work right now for my mother. There’s apartments, memory center, and infirmary living situations. There were two or three dining rooms: one was restaurant-style and one was buffet. If my mother is going to live some place, it would be there. "

"My mom stayed in Plymouth Place for about a month. She did okay there. Their CNAs were excellent. What stood out especially with this place was its cleanliness. It was a very clean community. Would I recommend this place? Yes, I would! It is an excellent facility. "

"Mom is in here, and we like that the staff is very caring and that the price was fairly reasonable. They have meals three times a day, and they give her baths three times a week. Mom misses my dad a lot, but she is happy there. She plays bingo, and they tried to get her out of the room to do things. However, I’d like for the doctor to visit her a little more often. "

"King-Bruwaert House actually has a couple of levels. It has assisted living and an infirmary type of nursing home if you get ill. If a person needs more assistance, they don't have to change their facility. They stay in the same place and move back and forth in the system as needed. I think the facility is beautiful. It is located in a nice wooded area. Their little villages are very well maintained, and the people there are happy. It is a beautiful and serene place. "

"I love living at Oak Trace! Being a new resident, the staff members & residents have made my moving transition so smooth & easy. With Coronavirus going on, the team members have gone above & beyond their duties to make sure I am cared for and still engaged in programming. There are wonderful physical activities to do through the Oak Trace cable channels to participate in (especially since the fitness room is closed due to the virus precautions). Having all the walking paths is a big plus to both my physical/emotional needs. Because the residents are so friendly and outgoing, it has helped a new resident like me to emotionally adapt to the new environment. Five star ratings for every department."

"This facility is located on the north side of chicago it serves a population of adults who have been diagnoised with a developmental disability. They only provide services to female residents. While there I noticed some of the residents were sharing a room. They have a full clinical staff that provides services to the residents 24 hrs a day. the meals are prepared by the staff, and on special occassions and when doing food activites, the staff will allow the residents to assist in the preparation of the meals. The facility is clean, and well-maintained. The staff is very hands on, and the residents seem to have a closeness with one another. In general, I would rank this facility a 4 out of 5 stars. "

"My mom is in Central Baptist Village. The staff is wonderful. They talk to their guests by name and they are very interactive. They have small but adequate room. The food is fine. My mother is quite happy having a nice warm meal and having plenty of it. They are activities, maybe not every day, but throughout the week, there are different things that do come out and they do let them know what kind of things is going on. They have live entertainment and movies available. They also have a library. They have transportation to shopping and doctor's appointment. We are very pleased and I will definitely recommend them to others. "

"At Beacon Hill, the staff is very nice and very helpful. They have a tremendous amount of things for the people to do inside and outside of the building. They have concerts inside there. The food is great. They have an indoor pool. I liked that they are very friendly. I liked that there is versatility and a lot of things to do. The place is kept up very well. It is clean, neat, and well organized. "

"St Paul's House was just fine. It was too close to a busy street; it worried me. From what I saw, it seemed clean. The rooms were fine, too. They each had a bathroom. The dining room looked fine. I think the staff was very helpful, very patient, very friendly, and gave us a lot of time to ask questions. They had some activities. They had a room where some people were playing cards and some were doing some crafts. "

"I liked everything about Smith Village. It was family-oriented. They had many programs for the seniors. Everybody was wonderful. It felt like home, and it would have been a perfect fit for my uncle. The rooms were small, but they were beautiful. They were very clean, very well maintained, and efficient. The dining room was beautiful. Families were welcome to enjoy dinner for a small fee. It was nice. They had mass services, bingo, movies, and entertainment. Everything was perfect. "
